Positive: The hotel was lovely and the grounds beautifully looked after. With 25 hectares of land there were lots of different walks to go on without leaving the hotel. There was a nearby lake too. We had the junior suite which was huge, the bedding was really good quality and the beds very comfy. Immaculately clean. The March weather was still cool so unable to use the outdoor pool but it was nice to sit beside the pool and relax on one of the many loungers with the bar and restaurant close by.
Negative: On Booking.com they had advertised an indoor heated pool and spa. They failed to mention that it was damaged in the recent earthquake and therefore closed which was a disappointment for us, (although sad for the country to have suffered such a disaster). The food was good but became a bit samey after a a few days, one too many tagines! The poolside cushions could do with an upgrade.

Negative: Pool too cold for us in February (it's not heated)! Some facilities not yet repaired following earthquake, eg indoor pool, spa and gym. Hope this wonderful place continues to receive guests as rebuilding cannot happen over night. Would have loved tea and coffee facilities in room.
