Positive: The location was good, ease of transportation to the city and attractions places we intended to visit. It was easy to get around shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly, they did their best to help out but the language barrier was too strong making communication difficult.
Negative: There was no air conditioner in the room, it was so hot and uncomfortable that we couldn’t sleep the first two nights. Our main attraction was the pool at time of booking but a week before our trip I was informed that the pool wouldn’t be available until 17/08 but we will be offered breakfast. However, there was no details of how or where the breakfast will be served so we missed it day one. When I enquired, I was told the pool was open, later same day, we tried to use the pool but it was too cold - 3 days lost. No one came back to inform us when the pool started working again. We eventually got breakfast for 2 days. If I’m being honest, it wasn’t good enough. It might be the French version but far from English breakfast. Two tiny pieces of Croissants and two small rolls etc. The 3rd night, power cut affected our room, we were moved to another room, the TV wasn’t working until after some days before it was fixed. We had no iron in the room, we asked for one and waited but got none so we went out to sight seeing with creased clothes. I was not impressed.

Negative: Slightly delay in getting in, we arrived after the opening hours, but after about 15 minutes we were able to gain access.

Positive: The rooms were large and clean. The location was near to the metro station. Personnel did their best to solve any problem we encountered. The neighborhood is nice with shops, a bakery and restaurants.
Negative: The night before we arrived we learned that the reserved 3-person apartment was not available. They solved it by putting us in 2x 2 person apartments with free breakfast. The lady at the reception did not speak English so communication was a bit difficult, but we managed. We had to order breakfast the day before and what we got was not exactly as we ordered. They tried to solve the problems, but we had to go down several times. We couldn't turn down the heating in one of the rooms and in the other room there were no light-blocking curtains. Note: this seems to be a retirement home in which they rent out available rooms to tourists. There's nothing wrong with this, just don't expect a "proper" hotel as you might be used to.

Positive: I often stay in a Domitys because the apartments are a good size and comfortable and I like the heated pool. This one is in a new development, close to a big park and the centre of St Ouen and there is a community building 100m away with food stalls, bar etc. and a big screen which was nice as I was on my own. It's only a short walk from the Metro - Mairie de St Ouen - which gives easy access to Paris centre and the stadiums Arena de la Porte de la Chapelle and La Stade de France at St Dennis.
Negative: The pool wasn't as warm as in other locations. Although it was advertised as having air conditioning, it wasn't working in the apartments.

Positive: It was such a great accommodation! Very clean, bright and spacious, quiet, all you need in the kitchen, comfortable bed, big spacious bathroom , access to the pool, massage bed, gym all you need for a great holiday. Worth the metro trip to Paris attractions…😃👍 which takes just 15-20 minutes and the property is just 5 minutes walk from the metro station! For €2.15 a trip definitely worth it!! The staff very friendly and attentive… thank you!
