Summary: A superb location and a total oasis of calm as Villetta was extremely busy with tourists . The open air terrace on the third floor was a very welcome retreat from the busy streets below. The staff are all exceptional and couldn’t be more caring. A truly fabulous stay.

Summary: This was not our first visit and it won’t be the last we are very lucky to have found such a beautiful hotel. The staff go above and beyond to make everyone feel at home. Their knowledge of the island is amazing and they make time for everyone especially during breakfast helping as required explaining how to find places of interest, many visitors may have never visited Malta before. All staff are very helpful nothing was too much trouble. The bedrooms are all superb with lovely cotton sheets the towels are nice and fluffy and if you need extra pillows you only have to ask.As you walk through the door you notice a beautiful relaxing hotel with no waiting to check in the reception staff immediately get up from their desk to greet you and help with your luggage.As this is a small hotel you will notice straight away you are a valued visitor to their establishment and not just a name like you find in larger hotels.

Summary: The staff is wonderful. One note…if taking Uber or a cab to the property you have to be dropped off about a block and a half from the property. Those needing assistance with luggage etc. might have a problem.

Summary: The team at Domus Zamittello are amazing and wicked attentive! The breakfast was above and beyond with a wonderful mix of speedy and leisurely food options- their fresh squeezed orange juice was our favorite throughout our stay. The room was complete with all that we needed for our stay and then some! Given it is located right in the heart of Valleta, it was easy to get to public transport (bus, ferry, and ride share for sure since that was what we used) that made our exploration so much easier. Overall, would definitely stay again! Thank you, Domus Zamittello team for making our travels so easy!

Summary: Wonderful location and the staff was amazing during our stay at the Domus Zamittello! Customer service seems at the heart of their approach with everything from restaurant reservations to personalized service at the breakfast table. Really a wonderful experience. The hotel is very comfortable and well appointed and our room has everything we could want.

Summary: What a wonderful place. A fantastic hotel which was a quiet haven in the middle of busy Valetta. The staff and service were the best we’ve ever had anywhere! So attentive and helpful. We particularly loved the fact that the senior managers took the time to speak to guests at breakfast each morning, asking them about their plans for the day and making suggestions on places to visit. The breakfast was lovely and the hotel is simply stunning. The rooms were outstanding. The beds were so comfortable, the bathroom had wonderful Penhaligon toiletries and the room was so quiet.

Summary: · May 2026 Domus Zamittello is a jewel of a hotel, ideally situated just inside Valletta’s pedestrian quarter, and only a short walk from the Upper Barrakka Gardens and St. John’s Co-Cathedral. The property possesses an elegantly understated decor, while the staff members are uniformly friendly, attentive, and impeccably professional without ever feeling intrusive. Central location meant the rooms overlooking the pedestrian road could be a bit noisy. Excellent staff gave positive assistance with itineraries and generally couldn’t have been more helpful. I enjoyed breakfast from an extensive menu being served to me for a change. We found a marvellous restaurant (Giannini) 10 minutes walk from the hotel which was quiet, great food and view - we went back 4 nights. Malta itself was a great venue but the advent of cruise ships disgorging hundreds for the day makes these places more difficult to enjoy. We experienced the same on Madeira.
