Positive: A gorgeous resort and a beautiful villa! The resort is located a short distance from Alegria Beach and the nearby restaurants, which makes the location very convenient. The villa’s design is beautiful, the beds were super comfortable, and we also really enjoyed the pool. We also appreciated small thoughtful details, like having Netflix already set up so guests don’t need to log in and out of their own accounts. The owners are very kind and helpful, always assisting us whenever we needed anything. We truly loved our stay and would love to come back again! :)
Negative: As the resort is quite new, some of the plants around the fences are still growing, so you can see through to the neighboring villa, which means the privacy is not perfect yet. I believe that once the plants grow more, it will feel much more private. The resort is also located next to the main road, which can sometimes be a bit noisy. There were also a few small items missing in the villa, but these were only minor details. Apart from that, we had a lovely stay and the place is truly beautiful!

Positive: We had such a wonderful stay at Villa Don Luis! The villa is truly beautiful and equipped with everything you need (kitchen, living room…). It feels very comfortable and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax. We especially loved the small pool – it’s perfect for unwinding after a surf session or just enjoying a quiet afternoon. The location is ideal: peaceful and calm in the north, yet directly next to two very good surf spots. The hosts were absolutely amazing – super friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. We rented a scooter through them and they also connected us with a guy to rent surfbords (which you can store in the board room next to the villa). They were always available if we had any questions or needed support. We would come back anytime and can highly recommend Villa Don Luis to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-located, and relaxing place to stay. 🌊✨

Positive: Clean comfortable and perfect little pool. Nice and quiet and close to beaches. Host was super helpful and accommodating!
Negative: It’s new so they were still waiting on things like pool chairs. Also needed some kitchen towels.

Positive: Everything was perfect. The villa was super comfortable, internet works well, aircon is great, the location is perfect if you are looking for peace and quiet. It is really close to Secret Paradise beach and Tangbo beach which are great surfspots and have the best sunset on the island. We went island hopping from San Benito, which is really close and you are 10 minutes away from Burgos (more great surfing too!) You will need a scooter or a car, which we asked for before arriving and the staff was super helpful in helping us arrange it.
Negative: We wish we had stayed in the north much longer and maybe stayed in General Luna 1 or 2 days maximum.
