Positive: A beautiful place to stay, decorated with charming vintage furniture, located in a small and peaceful town. The host was exceptionally kind – even though we arrived late, he patiently waited for us. In the morning, we were greeted with an excellent breakfast in the hotel’s lovely restaurant. Both the room and the restaurant terrace offer stunning views. We were sorry to leave so soon, as the atmosphere was so inviting that we would have loved to stay for dinner as well.

Positive: We loved this stay as the owner, the restaurant and the breakfast was amazing. The rooms are spacious, gives you the feel of Italy. The food in restaurant and service was really great. Little shame for us that we got little lost in mountains and arrived really hungry, so did not change our clothes before dinner - cause or was really needed. And the breakfast was maazing
Negative: A/c in one of the rooms was not working properly. Was a little tricky to find the place. As you need to go to square and not a little further than navigation brings you.

Positive: The apartment is beautiful; spacious, light and comfortable, elegantly decorated with a well equipped kitchen and bathroom. The village is friendly and welcoming and the restaurant next door was excellent - with delicious local ingredients and a local and international menu, (also with great local wine.) The village of Picciano overlooks the Grand Sasso peaks one way and the Adriatic Sea the other - a pretty incredible situation. Views from the apartment are lovely with the hills nearby.
Negative: Parking is unpredictable- this is due to building work on the church opposite. Breakfast would have been good too - it was advertised, but perhaps we were out of season in May.

Positive: We loved this little town. It was a perfect addition to our holiday at that time. The view from our balcony was beautiful. Dinner next door also owned by the same people was one of the best on our travels so far!
Negative: The room didn’t have a small fridge which we needed as was travelling with drinks and some basic foods. Also maybe a couple of glasses for drinks would be a good idea too.
Summary: We really enjoyed our overnight stay at Piciano including of delicious dinner.
