Summary: Wonderful stay. We ate dinner every night on the deck overlooking the river. Beautiful sunsets. All room were large and adequately furnished. We enjoyed the stay very much.

Summary: The rental process was very easy and things were mostly just like owner had indicated. The view is TO DIE FOR, the beds slept well, and even though the road and driveway are curvy and steep they are paved and passable. However! I’d like to make a few suggestions: 1) the windows in the main room need some covering or outside deck needs an awning to help with the gorgeous morning sun blaring in so you don’t have to wear sunglasses inside to just survive 2) it’s stated the house sleeps ten but 10 cannot share a meal at the table since there’s only 8 chairs 3) nothing to make pancakes for 10 on 4) fan in main room needs to be fixed or directions on how to operate should be posted 5) bigger hot water heater if 10 people are allowed to stay 6) need extra blankets/linens for one having to sleep on main level couch. We had a great time and laughed so hard our bellies hurt. It was very strange to be there in November with it 37 degrees outside in the mornings, yet to be able to sit in the main room we had to open the door to the deck, windows, & front door since the sun heated the room up beyond being comfortable. I cannot imagine if it had been summer!! Thanks for renting to is.

Summary: Our only disappointment was there is absolutely no room to bring a boat. The turn into the property is very steep and there is no way to turn around. The ad did not disclose this, but once booked, the instructions did state this. Even a small 14’ Jon boat on a trailer would be too much. Definitely need to plan ahead for a place to keep the boat before you make the last turn. Eats point marina is very close but was closed when we arrived. We were not prepared for how close we were to other homes but the property itself did not disappoint. Amenities like garbage bags, toilet paper and soap were a little light but not a big deal for us. Plan accordingly. Overall a lovely stay.

Summary: Great house for family and friends weekend. Only downside is the main living area is a bit small but otherwise a great place! Great deck and view, easy access to the dock

Summary: We would highly recommend this lake house to other potential guests. It is clean, well appointed and all of the rooms have a beautiful view. There are 3 floors to the house and every floor has a great view. We docked our boat on the boat dock and it was perfect for our needs. We were a 5 minute boat ride to the Eastport Marina. We even rented a pontoon for a day. The house slept 5 adults and 2 children but it could easily sleep 10 people.

Summary: The view at this property is wonderful. One note is you have 60 + steps to go up & down to the lake. For some folks this could be a issue. In addition not lighted for night. Two showers are very small. With the above said it is a outstanding home with nice furnishings, great view & wonderful owners.

Summary: We had a fantastic time. This house is right on the lake with fantastic views from numerous windows and a great deck. The house is updated, comfortable and clean. WIFI was really good - which I needed for Zoom calls. Overall we would definitely stay again. Two things to note if you are staying. The road has a few steep parts and blind curves so do it in the daylight. And the showers in two bathrooms are really small. Nice water pressure, but tight to move around.

Summary: Our family has been renting houses at pickwick for years and Don’s place is our favorite by far. It was so clean, very well decorated and had lots of parking space. But the best part of Don’s place is the beautiful view of the lake.
