Enjoy the beautiful West End of Donner Lake with all the comforts of home. This charming getaway is located in the heart of snow country. Squaw Valley, Northstar, Alpine Meadows, Donner Ski Ranch, Sugar Bowl, Royal Gorge, Boreal and Tahoe Donner are all within 25 minutes or less from our door. Donner State Park is located just a few miles from us and offers cross country skiing and trails for snow shoeing.
Additionally The Summer has so many activities to offer. Our Cabin is a short walk to the lakes west end beaches.
Donner lake offers all sorts of water sports. It's perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing not to mention some of the best views just sitting on the beach relaxing. If you would like to bring your own boat or jet skis we have plenty of flat parking at the house to accommodate it.
Beautiful Lake Tahoe "the Big Lake" is only a 20 min drive away. Always a fun day exploring Lake Tahoe and all of the adventures it has to offer.
If you like golfing there are 7 golf courses within a 15-20 min drive.
Historic Downtown Truckee is located just from 15 minutes from our cabin. Truckee offers an "old west mountain charm" with plenty of unique shops, great restaurants, wine tasting, art galleries and entertainment.
Inside you will find a cozy living room with a large gas fireplace to warm your toes while you curlup on the couch and read a book or watch your favorite movie on the 75" flatscreen tv also equipped with Apple TV.
The large living room windows offer plenty of view to watch the snow fall gently outside.
In the Summer months begin your mornings sipping coffee from the Keurig watching the sunrise from the Adirondack chairs on the large deck.
This home has 5 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Downstairs offers two bedrooms one with a queen bed and a set of bunkbeds the other with a queen bed. Upstairs offers 3 bedrooms the master room with a queen size bed. The other two rooms upstairs have full beds and also one room has a twin bunk bed. We have a full size washer and dryer for all of your laundry needs.

Summary: Loved the cabin for our snowshoeing adventure around Tahoe. This place is perfect for a group of friends or two families with its 5 bedrooms with plenty of beds. We really enjoyed the cozy atmosphere with a well stacked kitchen for home cooked meals, and the living room / dining room area with plenty of seating for everyone as well as a big TV for night time entertainment. Highly recommend this place in such a beautiful neighborhood. It’s probably also really nice in the summer with Donner Lake so close.

Summary: Our group of friends stayed here for our 25th annual snow weekend. House was marvelous and in a great location. We snowshoed half way up the mountain behind the house, walked down to the lake (and the pub) and played lots of games round the big table. The host was responsive and very helpful and we got the perfect dusting of snow. Thank you.

Summary: This property was exactly as described. Very clean, roomy for three couples, warm and quiet. It provided a much needed quiet space to get away to....and was close enough to walk to the lake and the nearby pub. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: We had two families staying together in this home and it was fantastic. So much space with a real bed for everyone. The location is just perfect for older kiddos who want to walk to the lake by themselves, very safe with little to no traffic Also this location is great for the Littles to just ride their bikes out front. Great fire pit for relaxing evenings. So clean with all the needed amenities. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us Drew and Jesse. Hope to rent again soon.

Summary: This cabin is in a great location for winter or summer! My teens spent their days at boreal which was a short drive away. Just close enough to truckee for convenience but still feels like you are remote enough to enjoy the outdoors. I would absolutely stay here again! Summary: Clean and well kept cabin located close to the Donner Pass Road entrance to Sugar Bowl ski resort. This cabin also had a huge flat screen TV with lots of streaming options when we got snowed out.

Summary: This house was perfect for our two families to enjoy the snow and ski. Location is close to so many resorts and snow play areas. The backyard itself was great for snow play! Also close to West End Beach for sledding with beautiful view of the lake. Host were very easy to communicate with and flexible!

Summary: ... was a great success. There were 4 of us for the first three nights, and there are real beds for as many as is described in the ad.
