Positive: Very helpful and attentive staff. Actually a good place to stay and there are no complaints in terms of service
Negative: There was a small amount of other guests but we were relegated to a lesser ocean view tent. I understand there was another function booked for the following day so I accept it.

Positive: Amazing!! 10/10. The glamping domes were super clean, modern, and equipped with everything!! Air conditioner, charging ports, free wifi, fridge, a lounge area and even had a projector for movies. The staff are very attentive and helpful, they showed us a tour on arrival of the property and the shared grounds. Explained how to use everything! They have free to use utensils for cooking, free coffee and tea, sauna and rooftop mini pools with a view of the sea. It feels very luxurious and very peaceful. Definitely recommend!!

Positive: Everything was perfect! The staff was so friendly and helpful, even with the language barrier. They really went beyond! Stayed in the single room, it was minimal and clean, with all needed. Was able to use the sauna and onsen, at no extra charge. The location is amazing, with an amazing view. The terrace view is breathtaking! However a little outside of town, so might be hard to get access to without a car/bicycle. The shared bathroom was extra clean, and the onsen was amazing, with several free amenities. If you're travelling alone, the single room is a great option!

Positive: From the second we arrived till we left the parking lot we felt nothing but overly welcome. The place is absolutely amazing. The staff even more so. We chose the accommodation for the clamping, we knew nothing about the town or area. Also this was a very pleasant surprise. It felt like we were the only tourists in the city and everyone, without exception, made us feel welcome. Dot Glamping in Ako might be the best surprise on our fantastic trip to Japan. The tent is huge, and although there is so much to see outside of the premises, it is well worth it not leaving, just enjoying the place. The private area is great too. We stayed two nights, and as we didn't have a car, we chose to include dinner in our order - do that, it is well worth it. The first night we got yakiniku which we grilled in the main building, the second night we got seafood which we grilled in our private area next to the tent, overlooking the ocean and sunsent. It is difficult to describe the welcome and feeling of staying at Dot Glamping in Ako, maybe the amazing staff just made it so much more, but I would travel to this place again. I can only recommend it. Nature is so close and is so beautiful in Ako!
Negative: Well it was pouring rain and windy on the day we arrived and half the second day - but it just made the experience different from what we had planned. Cosying up inside the igloo tent, hearing the wind and seeing the rain rund down the windows really did not take anything away from our stay.
