Positive: Super clean, very comfortable and remote location! Hot tub was great, and fenced in yard for the pups was perfect. Came with everything you would need.

Positive: There is alot to like. Beds are comfortable. Rooms have plenty of space. Kitchen and baths are well stocked with what you need. Location is great for security and access to surrounding cities. Plenty of parking. Kinda rustic with log style and older home. If we were at the house we spent entire time outside on back porch. This house sits up on a ridge where we had a wind almost entire time. Never used TV or inside furniture except beds. If what we didn't like was fixed would probably stay again. Pet rules need to be stated in listing NOT when you get the contract!
Negative: We found information about this house on at least two websites and both of them showed a PAIR of shower heads. TWO SHOWERS!!!!! There is not two showers. None of the guests take baths. We all take showers. Upstairs shower was capped off over a year ago by a guest that had to fix it to keep it from leaking all night per his review. STILL CAPPED JUST LIKE HE LEFT IT. FIX the #$$%^%&*(((*&^%$ SHOWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you have pets, the entire house and porch will be covered in burrs/stickers. Grass wasn't mowed in weeks, maybe months and we had warnings several times about snakes up on the ridge. Have the place ready for pets if you are going to allow pets and charge extra for them.
Summary: Experience was good, would have been excellent with just a little effort to make it excellent.

Positive: Absolutely GORGEOUS house, in a perfect location! Extremely quiet, private, and a true getaway spot. It’s not far from the main town nearby. Towels and amenities were great. It truly embodies the spirit of Central Texas and we felt right at home. Would definitely come back, we already miss it! It was our favourite stay in all of America!
Negative: The pillows in the main bedroom need an update to softer, fuller pillows and they could provide extra toilet paper and hand towels. Also, a warning about the adult channels on the satellite would be great. Other than this, it was absolutely perfect!
Summary: Absolutely perfect! My favourite place in America!

Positive: Loved the location and the layout of the house, the longhorns above the fireplace, loved the patio and that there was a new weber grill, the jacuzzi was also very nice! Loved the little lights on the perimeter. The fireplace was nice and all the western touches! The location was quiet and a short driving distance to "downtown" Wimberly as well as Dripping Springs.
Negative: For the price it would have been nice to have newer linens on the beds; sheets, pillow cases, comforter and newer towels. While overall the kitchen looked clean the microwave was dirty and the cabinets would have been nicer with liners.
Summary: We would do it again!
