Positive: Well located, clean and loved the decor. Beds were very comfortable and for me I love that they use a flat sheet aswell. Towels were big, fluffy and super white I loved that it felt like we were the 1st to use them.

Negative: I know it's a very old building and so beautifully restored but it was such a pity that the staircase and Upper floor were VERY VERY creaky to the point where we couldn't have a conversation downstairs if someone was moving around in their room or going to the bathroom. Only one shower- we were 6 people, maybe make the bath a bath/shower combo?

Positive: What a gem of a property. It's so beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and gives good access to sites in Graaff Reinet. It was easy to collect the keys from the restaurant and we also booked at Cold Stream for supper - delicious meal. Will definitely stay longer next time.

Negative: Floor boards upstairs were a bit noisy but not a big issue
