Summary: Lovely welcome on reception. Room laid out with extra bed as booked for 3. Great stay, unfortunately didn’t have time to use the extra facilities as car broke down so we had to use trains to get there at short notice. Will book again tho so we can take advantage of them.

Summary: We booked a junior suite, the AC was broken so we were downgraded to a regular room The beds are very hard The housekeeper threw our bed covers over when she cleaned our rooms - didn’t properly make the bed - didn’t hoover the floor - crumbs from previous guests. Overall it was disappointing

Summary: This is wonderful property very convenient to Bristol airport (so on the flight path, some flight noise in the morning). Beautiful building on a gorgeous property. Staff were friendly (well most of them) The room was nicely laid out, bed comfortable, great pillows & bedding. Breakfast was amazing!

Summary: One of my favourite short breaks days ever. A beautiful location with fantastic facilities you must visit the restaurant because the steak is to absolutely die for. Very close to Chedder gorge, not too far from Bath or Bristol. The scenery was so pretty. Plenty of parking. Spa facilities were absolutely excellent. The staff are very accommodating friendly and helpful. We had a last minute change of circumstances which meant that our daughter had to come with us so they supplied a rollaway bed at no extra cost our daughter even ate for free. We really couldn’t have asked for more oh and cookies upon arrival, I’m sorry what ! Great touch.

Summary: Overall our stay was great and in an ideal location. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the staff provided a great service. The pool and jacuzzi was not as warm as expected despite being advertised as a heated pool Also their was limited gluten free options in the bar restaurant and breakfast which was a little disappointing.

Summary: We were very disappointed with the allocation of the room that despite sone wonderful views from hotel, we were put in a room where the view was a walk & bushes. The hotel sits on a cliff so floor 2 is ground floor and our room was 2 floors into basement. The manager and staff told us that there were no other rooms available, however on us kicking up a fuss they found us a room one floor up with view of car park. This is one hotel which I believe over promises and under delivers. Ask specifically about scenic rooms otherwise you will be lumbered with a room at the back. Useless Staff, don’t expect much sympathy or support from them.
