Positive: PERFECT location for easy off/on major highways. Safe feeling about the area and location, which I appreciated. VERY VERY nice, friendly staff. Comfortable room and bed, with everything I could possibly have needed. Loved the warm cookie.
Negative: The restaurant, Blaze, wasn’t very good, unfortunately. Staff in there were friendly and helpful too, but I ordered Alfredo primavera and even though I was VERY hungry, I ate some of the noodles and didn’t touch the vegetables after the first bite. If you took frozen pre-prepared noodles Alfredo, warmed it up and tossed it with warmed up pre-cut frozen vegetable medley, that’s pretty much what it looked and tasted like. I paid $20 for it (I think - but it wasn’t inexpensive). I’m glad I didn’t order one of the pricier items. This may explain why the restaurant probably seated 50+ people but except for a few folks at the bar it was empty on a Thursday evening at 7pm. I saw that when I walked in, and I knew it probably wasn’t going to be a stellar meal, but I was hungry and tired and didn’t want to bother trying to find something else.
