Summary: Our stay was comfortable. The room was clean and well organized. I didn’t like not having a microwave in the room. My husband said the breakfast was satisfactory. I would stay there again.

Summary: The hotel itself is beautiful, and it's in close proximity to D.C. However, the staff that I encountered was passive aggressive and not helpful. When the printer wasn't working, I asked the staff if they could kindly print somrthing (they did). And then I asked if they could delete the info I sent because it contained personal ticket information. The person at the front desk at the time, Lisa, said something snarky like, "I mean, I'm here; it's not like I'm going to go." And that was just one of a few passive aggressive things she said. If you're working in customer service, don't be so nasty.

Summary: I had a very pleasant stay at the Hilton DoubleTree Silver Spring. The rooms are clean, well-appointed, and very comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a busy day. One of the best things about this location is the abundance of excellent restaurants just a short walk away. Whether you're in the mood for international cuisine or a cozy local café, there’s something for everyone nearby. The proximity to the Metro is a major plus—it's just a short walk to the station, making it incredibly convenient to get into D.C. without the hassle or expense of staying downtown. Speaking of which, the rates here are much more reasonable than what you'd find in central D.C., making it a great value. The staff were generally wonderful—friendly, attentive, and helpful. There was one individual who worked on Sunday morning who came across as a bit tetchy and in fact very rude, but everyone else more than made up for it with their welcoming attitude and professionalism. Overall, a great base for visiting the D.C. area with all the comforts you'd expect from a DoubleTree stay. P.S: The warm cookies they give you at check-in are so delicious!
