Summary: This was the perfect place for my family. It was close to the stockshow and I really felt comfortable being able to have my vehicle behind a locked gate.

Summary: Lovely upgraded home away from home! Very comfortable stay! A short walk to the convention centre! The only issue was the street noise at night! Your next visitors you should replace the missing coffee carafe!

Summary: The home was beautiful and had everything we needed. The old home had an unbelievable classic feel to it but had well incorporated updated renovations. There were a few things that needed attention. The ceiling fans and vents needed to be dusted and I do wish there was an option for late check in and outside lights where on, it was very dark coming in after sunset. We also looked forward to using the outside fire pit but there was no propane which was disappointing. All in all it was a wonderful stay and we enjoyed the charm of the house.

Summary: We stayed 3 nights for an event at the Alamodome and the location was fantastic. The rental was clean, comfortable, spacious and well stocked. We come to San Antonio every year for the band events (go band kids!) and this was our favorite rental our of the last 4 years - will try to book again in the future.

Summary: This property is very lovely. It’s been modernized, but they kept the old charm. It is located within a mile to mile and a half of multiple San Antonio attractions. You can walk almost anywhere you wish to go. Also close by are a CVS, an H-E-B market, and if you’re a Tesla owner a Tesla supercharger which is located in a parking lot nearby. We really enjoyed our stay. I’m planning to stay here again.

Summary: We booked this house primarily because we were attending the DCI competition held at the Alamodome and we wanted to walk to the stadium. The house was clean and well maintained. Our only recommendation for future guests is to consider bringing ear plugs as the neighborhood is quite noisy. We had restless nights due to the two barking dogs across the street, and traffic/train noises. Also the thermostat kept resetting during the night so it was warmer in the house than we preferred.

Summary: This house is close to the Riverwalk, the Alamo, all sorts of tourist attractions. It’s cute and well appointed. Would stay here again.

Summary: We were very comfortable staying at this beautifully renovated house. It provided excellent amenities with comfortable seating and plenty of room to stretch out. The owners have done an excellent job of making the property secure, however the convenience of being so close to downtown was a double-edged sword. The area looks like it is moving toward improvement, however, we encountered a large number of homeless individuals on the streets only a block over, and dogs barking outside nearby homes woke us up every night. Back fence neighbors played loud music until after 1 a.m. on one of the nights and a local restaurant with outdoor seating and a unique acoustic to funnel sound toward the house disturbed us at night. The locked, in gate parking was reassuring once we were inside the gate, and there are motion sensor lights that add to security. Overall, this was a great base of operations to rediscover San Antonio and we would rebook it in the future.
