Summary: This is a reasonably well maintained properly. It is located above the oldest street in St. Augustine with a view over a narrow, scenic, brick-laid street and is in easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. It has some smaller issues that are typical of an older property, but overall we found the furniture and decorating to be eclectically pleasing. The bed is very comfortable. The air conditioning is relatively quiet and more than adequate for cooling the relatively spacious rooms. Stairs are steep and a bit treacherous, but overall, though pricey, it a great place if you want to be close to the action. Great ice cream sandwiches, right across the street!

Summary: We really loved this house! It was the perfect size for me and my husband! The location is amazing! We love staying at places where we can walk to everything and this house was perfect for that. Since it’s July, it was very hot, but the house was always nice and cool after a long day of walking in the heat. We will definitely stay here again!

Summary: The location could not be better - so close to everything downtown, easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The parking space was tight, but correctly advertised - I have a Volvo XC60 and it was a tight fit (had to turn off all my parking sensors, otherwise it would have been impossible to park). The bed was very comfortable, the window AC units kept up with the Florida heat and kept the apartment cool. No obvious hauntings. I would stay again if given the opportunity!

Summary: We loved the location! You could walk to all of the attractions and restaurants. We didn’t take our car out the entire time we stayed. The place was nice and cool. The layout was a bit odd, but that’s to be expected when an older structure has been remodeled. The place was pretty clean, but the bottom of the shower was questionable so we wore flip flops in the shower. There was an infestation of what we think were carpenter ants in their winged larval stage. They were dropping their wings all over and little larvae were crawling around. I contacted Sean, the property owner, and he said that they had noticed the infestation and that the exterminator had been out once already. Aside from that, the only complaint is lack of water pressure. The balcony overlooked the first paved street in America and you could sit in one of the lounge chairs and people watch or nap. The street wasn’t so busy that it kept you up, though. Overall we had a great time and would stay there again.

Summary: We loved this place! Right in the middle of the historic district. I love the extra space that an apartment affords and the balcony was a bonus. We overlooked the oldest street in the city and enjoyed the horse drawn carriages as they clip clopped down the street. The Forgotten Tonic restaurant and Peace Pies ice cream sandwich shop were right across the street. Yum. We hope the place is available when we return !

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay! Walking distance from everything, perfect amount of space, and great communication with the host! Our little car had no problems in the parking spot and we loved sitting on the porch in the comfy rocking chairs watching people go by. We would love to stay here again!
