Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, we are conveniently located less than a mile from downtown Round Rock. Our house is also right off interstate 35 making our location perfect for couples looking to visit the Round Rock/Austin area. Downtown Round Rock is quickly becoming a local attraction in its our right, it offers plenty of shopping and wonderful places to dine. We are also only 10 minutes from Dell Diamond for anyone visiting Round Rock on business. We are 4 miles from the Kalahari Resort.
This one bedroom one-bathroom unit is perfectly suited for a couple but offers a queen size pullout couch in case you want to bring company.
Our home has been split into two floors which can be rented separately or as one single unit to accommodate up to 12 guests with an adjoining staircase located inside the house and separated by locked doors.
The house is split into two separate units. Unit B which is located on the first floor is a one bedroom one-bathroom unit that sports a cozy living room with a queen-size pull-out couch and a small kitchen.
Unit A which is located on the second floor offers 2 bedrooms, one with a full size XL bed and the other bedroom has two full size XL beds as well as a kitchen. There is also a queen size pull-out couch.
The two units each have a private entrance but are accessible by an adjoining staircase located inside of the home which is separated by deadbolt locked doors.
We can be reached at any time via phone, text, or through the booking platform. We want you to have a great stay so if there is anything, we can do to help you accomplish that do not hesitate to ask. We will provide you will all our contact information prior to your arrival at our home. Thank you for allowing us to host your stay in Austin.
The best thing about our neighborhood is the location. We are within walking distance of Downtown Round Rock. Suburban Round Rock is quickly becoming the gem of Austin and by staying with us you are right in the middle of everything. Can't wait to host your stay with us.
Being that we are located in the suburban part of Austin a car is almost a must but Uber, Lyft or a taxi are all viable options.
Close to train tracks so guests will hear the sound from the occasional train passing through the area.
We charge an additional guest fee of $20 a person per night after 2 guests. This fee is calculated on the booking app and usually is shown as additional guest fee on the breakdown.
NO UNAUTHORIZED GUEST ALLOWED. A $200 fee will be assessed for EACH unauthorized guest.
We do ask that you remove your shoes while inside our home. We won't judge if you choose to bring your bunny house slippers. Your secrets safe with us and we appreciate you treating our home the same as you do your own.
We have implemented these few rules in order to protect our home and business. We ask that you read them carefully and keep in mind that you if have no intention of breaking any of them they actually won’t apply to you.
No Shoes in the house.
No Pets under any circumstances. Reservation will be canceled immediately.
No smoking or vaping inside the house! Smoking outside in the backyard or front porch is acceptable.
Zero tolerance for drugs or illegal activities of any kind. Reservation will be canceled immediately!
Quite hours are 10 PM – 8 AM. Please do not disturb our neighbors!

We do not offer late checkouts.

Summary: I will give the photographers of this listing kudos because the photos really outshine the actual VRBO. Our entry experience on the first day was not ideal, as the key pad entry died and we had to contact the hosts at 11:30 on how else to get it. They were very prompt and responsive and located the physical spare keys for us, but didn't come by as promised over our stay to fix the key pad. The space itself was really uncomfortable, filled with stiff and cheap furniture. The check out instructions expected us to do a load of laundry, but our unit wasn't given access to the washer/dryer unit.

Summary: The property is located near the downtown district. We enjoyed our stay at this property. The only thing I didn’t like about the place was access can be gained from the second floor unit and I wasn’t comfortable in the bed provided. It was clean and easy to get to as advertised.

Summary: We travel a good bit and use VRBO for some of our stays both in the US and overseas. This was one of the nicest places we've been, and the unit was roomier than a hotel room at a lower price than most of the hotels in the area. I've had a couple of bad experiences with offsite managers and keyless entries over the years, but these folks were very helpful, Bonnie in particular. We received quick replies when a few minor issues that were our fault arose during the booking process. The unit is very nicely furnished and well supplied with the necessities. The TV was awesome. We have a ten-year-old 65-incher at home, and when I talk with my wife about getting a new one, she says the old one is good enough. But when we saw this TV, it was so much sharper and clearer than ours that I think I've finally convinced her. The bathroom was well set up and all the plumbing worked perfectly. The management has more extensive rules than most places, but as an owner of multiple rental properties, I can see the reasons for them, and the rules come from a commitment to keeping the place looking sharp and running well.

Summary: Nicely set up, but in an out-of-the way spot next to downtown Round Rock that was uncomfortably remote for an elderly woman staying alone. Perfect for couples or a few friends get-away.
