Holiday on the sunny island of Tenerife: You can expect a fully equipped holiday house with stunning sea views. The large terrace with dining area and sun loungers invites you to relax. The house offers on the ground floor a spacious, modern kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, a dining area for 6 persons and a guest toilet. From the living room you have a wonderful view of the bay of La Tejita and the striking Montana Roja, which glows red in the sunset. On the first floor are three lovingly furnished bedrooms (2 double bedrooms, 1 bedroom with bunk beds) and two bathrooms.
A walk of only 5 minutes takes you to the longest natural beach in Tenerife. Here you are under umbrellas made of palm leaves, swim all year in the sea or use the wind for water sports such as windsurfing and kiting. In addition, within walking distance of the shopping mall "Street Market La Tejita" with pubs, shops and a supermarket.
In 20 minutes on foot or in 3 minutes by car you are in El Medano. On the beach promenade there are numerous restaurants and cafes, the beach offers sheltered places even on windy days. Surfers and kiters will also get their money's worth here. Numerous surf schools offer lessons and lend the necessary material.
From your holiday home you drive in just 5 minutes drive west to get to the fishing village of Los Abrigos. There you will find numerous fish restaurants that offer their freshly caught fish and seafood on large plates and serve regional side dishes (eg papas arrugadas).
For hikers, the area offers numerous tours. Definitely worth a trip to the top of Montana Roja. The picturesque mountain villages such. B. Vilaflor or San Miguel can be reached by car in less than half an hour. From there you have both a fantastic view of the coast and an excellent starting point for walks in the pine forests at the foot of the Teide.

Summary: Very nice house with a fabulous outside patio overlooking the beach and sea at La Tejita. Very nice owners who live next door and were a pleasure to rent from. We stayed for 4 weeks and could have stayed longer. We would definitely check if this house was available to rent if we wanted to stay in this part of Tenerife.

Summary: House is nice and well equipped kitchen. I stayed there with my sister and grandmother. The stairs going upstairs are quite scary even for me so I was worried about my gran who is 81 a lot. The outside terrace is lovely and a total wind trap so it was great for sunbathing. The next door house had 3 dogs which barked and cried a lot which we found upsetting at times. I think to stay here it would be best to have a car - the pathways are uneven and we had to hold onto my gran a lot. The beach is 10 min walk but the pathways are uneven - good for running if you like to do that. There’s only really 1 shop to get food and my sister is vegan so that was also difficult at times. The bus stop is right outside the house at the bottom of the hill so we enjoyed getting the bus into El Médano. Overall nice stay but would stay somewhere busier next time.
