Positive: Spacious apartment with lovely sea view balcony. Convenient location to town centre and local shop near town square. All basics provided and good car parking on site.

Positive: The apartment was in a great location very close to the beach. There was a long balcony and a large kitchen/dining room area ! The host was very friendly and helpful.
Negative: The initial time finding the apartment with Google maps was a little tricky when walking. However once we called the host we found our way!

Positive: The location was great, very near the city center. The hosts were polite, they welcomed us with refreshing drinks in the garden with olive trees by the house, which can be used by guests. The shops were 7-8 mins away from the property, in case something is needed. It has a parking in front of the house, so the car was secured. The spacious balcony with sea view was great for a coffee break in the evening and breakfast in the morning.
Negative: Since we stayed in the middle of July, it was so hot outside and the one air conditioning at the entrance was not enough to cool the entire attic. Some of the furniture was old-fashioned, bathroom (especially shower) could be improved, as well as the hook stand for swimwear and towels (clothespins were rusty, so be careful while hanging clothes to dry!) We managed to stay for 2 nights, though, and price for 4 people was ok.
Summary: Great experience for a girls weekend getaway, near the city center by walk

Positive: The apartment is roomy, comfortable and clean. The kitchen is rather small but perfectly adequate even for a longer stay. The beds were comfy, the bathroom clean. The terrace is big and has a great view of the sea. The direct sun is to much during the day, but it's shaded in the morning and the evening. It's a great place for breakfast or an evening cocktail. The air-conditioning works well (witch is a good thing, since without it the apartment would get really hot, since it's directly under the roof). The owners are in the building and always available. They're were great hosts, very kind and always prepared to help. There's a private parking space in front of the building, which is great, especially in a touristy town like Makarska. The nearest beach (Osejava) is a 5 minute walk away, the central town beach is a 10-15 minute walk on the main promenade. The building is just above the flat part of town, so you don't have to climb long steep hills to get to it from the beach. A shopping mall is nearby (5 minute walk). Great place for a vacation.

Positive: Great location and a parking space available for our stay. The host was welcoming and accommodating. They kindly allowed us entry to the room and hour before planned check in.
Negative: The facilities could have been better, we had a two ring hob but no toaster and an iron but no ironing board. The bathroom was very hot and the extractor didn't work, which was unpleasant. The air conditioning went off when you left the room and it took quite a while for the the unit to reduce the room temperature once it was switched back on. The local beach was absolutely rammed with people.
