Summary: The quaint cabin was perfect for me and my boyfriend. All essentials are already there which made it easy for us to cook and clean up after ourselves. The woods surrounding the cabin are beautiful and the hot tub felt amazing. There are two other cabins close to this one, which we did not know ahead of time. So for a hose seeking major seclusion, this would only be satisfactory if the other rentals were not booked. We would definitely return for another visit!

Summary: The Castle was the perfect getaway for two stressed women who needed to escape reality. The cabin was cute and very clean. The area was scenic and peaceful. The screened porch with rockers was wonderful for my coffee drinking. And the back deck was even better with the hot tub, the privacy, and the trees. It was everything we were looking for in a relaxing girls’ getaway. We would definitely stay again.

Summary: Firstly, I wish to say that the area is beautiful where the cabin is located. It was also one of the cleanest places we've stayed. It did not seem, however, that the cabin was ready for our stay in other ways. It was cold when we arrived, as it was a chilly day. Luckily, the heat worked great so that was quickly fixed. We had looked forward to using the hot tub, but, it also was cold and had to be warmed up for hours before we could use it. When we went upstairs to go to sleep our first night, we found 2 windows open in the bedrooms and had to close them before a storm came in. The beds slept fine. The property is lovely.

Summary: The first thing the kids did was jump in the hot tub, which they spend a lot of time enjoying. We loved the view from the tower and spent sunsets up there for photo opportunities. The Castle is great because the back side area is very private and the hot tub is located on the back deck. We sat around the fire ring and cooked dinner on the open fire, awesome. The kids explored the community area and Bass Gill pond for a little fishing. They had more fun catching the smaller fish in the pond, than they did catching nothing at Lake Patoka because the wind was too brisk. Absolutely loved every minute being on the property. However it's a reminder how fast time flies because the weekend was over too quick. We had a hard time leaving.

Summary: We were extremely happy with this rental - the cabin was clean and the giant screened in front porch with three big nice rocking chairs was perfect and where we spent much of our time. The sheets and blankets were of higher quality than usually see at cabin rentals and this made everyone have really great nights of sleep! The location is gorgeous with beautiful hills and nature around. The owner was extremely communicative and responsive. We will definitely stay again if in the area, loved it!

Summary: My husband and I were needing a weekend away with just the 2 of us. We wanted remote, limited interaction with others, and a hot tub. We got what we needed! The Castle was extremely clean and organized, we had just enough reception that the kids could text if there was something important that could not wait for our return home, and they had the hot tub warmed up for us when we got there! Unfortunately, the rain kept us from exploring the trails, but we will catch them when we come back!

Summary: Enjoyed everything from the wandering goat to the hot tub. Unique spot, clean, everything you need. The romantic story behind the Castle had us mooing. Upstairs bedrooms get a bit warm so a small fan or 2 would go a long way. Perfect blend of wilderness and amenities. Thank you.
