5 Bedroom House in Phippsburg

Renovated 5 bedroom beachfront house featuring soaring ceilings and open concept floor plan. Unobstructed panoramic views of the beach, ocean and Seguin & Pond lighthouses at renowned Popham Beach. Private beach access.
Great home for two - three families or extended family to share. Beach front with spectacular water views from most rooms. This home sits on 1.3 acres of private land ( exclusive for your use) but it is part of an association. Steps to miles of sand. Listen to the waves as you fall asleep. Have your morning coffee from one of two decks overlooking the sea and islands. Close to Fort Popham.
Formerly part of Ocean View Cottages and Campground. WiFi and cable. Please note cell phone coverage in the area is poor. We do have a landline and free long-distance calling.
Open year round. Spend Thanksgiving or Christmas here with your family. Popham Beach is beautiful any time of the year.
All guests must be 25 years of age or accompanied by a parent. This home is part of an association and rules set by the association must be adhered to. No Unit Owner shall obstruct or interfere with the rights of other occupants or annoy them by unreasonable noise or otherwise. 3. No Unit Owner shall use the Common Elements or Limited Common Elements for any activity that would obstruct or deter views, ingress or egress by other Unit Owners or guests or invitees Boats longer than 12 feet, motor homes, campers, trailers of any kind, tents, shacks, sheds or other outbuildings are not allowed on the property. Storage for boats less than 12 feet, dinghies, kayaks and paddle boards shall be within the Unit Owners Limited Common Element and not obstruct the view of any other Unit owner No trash, rubbish or other offensive materials or materials degrading in appearance shall be allowed to exist on the Units or Common Elements excluding any area designated for trash and/or recycling by the Association. This home has a limit of 12 guests at any time in the home or on the property. This includes day guests on the beach.
Please note. Due to recent erosion we do not have beach at high tide so you need to plan your day accordingly.

Summary: We were looking for a nice weekly stay directly on Popham beach to enjoy some solitude before the family joined us for Thanksgiving. If you've ever walked Popham Beach, you'll recognize this house. It is a beautiful new home with beach front decks and porches. The open floor plan was perfect and you could hear the waves crashing on the beach. Just wonderful. The kitchen is well outfitted, including a countertop french door convection oven, crockpot, large pot for lobsters and all the cooking items you would need. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels, nice linens and a washer & dryer. We walked the beach every day and the views and location cannot be beat!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house at Popham Beach. The layout was open and someone could be cooking and still enjoy conversations with others. The porches invited time for games or a quiet place to read. The house stayed at a comfortable temperature even when it was warm outside. Grandparents, parents, and teenagers were all happy to be together in this house and on the beach. Beautiful memories made!

Summary: Beautiful Beach location! The home is lovely and set up really well for a large family group. We enjoyed many gorgeous walks on the beach and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. The home has everything you might need and the kitchen is especially well stocked for cooking family meals. We hope to return in the future!

Summary: Location on the beach cannot be beat. Gorgeous sunsets and going to sleep with the sound of the waves every night. House is clean and decorated simply without clutter. Kitchen was wonderful space to cook in for large group!

Summary: Spent five nights (in late April) at this stunning house. Check-in was easy. The owner provided check-in information in advance. The location is perfect: on Popham beach, with direct access (and direct, stunning views) of the beach/water/waves and distant lighthouses. The house has five bedrooms (plus a nook off the master bedroom with a crib) and 2.5 baths. The kitchen is very well-appointed. There's nothing missing (and actually there are multiples of things like fruit/potato peelers and meat thermometers). Overall, an absolutely wonderful house. Wi-fi works well. Cell service (at least during our stay) was fine. Bath is only 25-28min away, where you can find a Shaw's, Walgreens, CVS, etc. The closer general store (Bisson's) is a good stop for beer, canned goods, and some staples but not really viable for a "stock the fridge" grocery trip. Finally, the beach is amazing. Wide and expansive during low tide and mid-tide. Easy, pleasant walk to Fort Popham. Overall, a terrific home. I highly recommend it.

Summary: The view from this house is absolutely gorgeous! We were not sure how it will be in the winter however the walls on the beach were absolutely breath taking. Kids also had had fun! I work definitely recommend this house! Very clean house which is very important!!
