The Drop In Beach Haus is located between two of Tasmania's most iconic surf spots Dark Hollow and Shelley Point. It is also close to the many mountain bike trails in the area and with world class game-fishing and wineries within your grasp you'll never be short of things to enjoy.

This modern beach house with industrial features boasts three bedrooms 2 with queen beds and 1 with a double bed. Ensuite to the main bedroom boasts a double shower and main bathroom has a freestanding bath to relax in. There is a large open plan living area with ocean views. Two large decks, to take advantage of the morning and afternoon sun and an outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach. Summary: We really needed a break away, just the family and our dog. This was the first time going on holidays with our fur child, it was a great success. There were four of us including two kids. The yard was well fenced with heaps of room for the kids (and dog) to run around. The property had some lovely touches like the hot outdoor shower on the entry deck to wash off after being at the beach and a fishing rod holder out the back. The open plan living had everything we needed, comfy couch, big TV and a decent size dining table for lego building. The kitchen was adequate and easy to navigate. The front deck was a joy of an afternoon and morning to look out to the water just down the road. The bed in the main bedroom was really comfortable, probably the best we've stayed in for a long time. Although not the coldest time of year, the space warmed up nicely during the day meanign we didn't need heating at night. At the bottom of the street there is a great little local hangout serving burgers and beer, very kid friendly with fast service. All round we really had a lovely time, just 5 minutes or so to Scamander and about 10-15 to St Helens makes this a quiet spot but also very close to other ammenities

Summary: this 3 bedroom house is a great get away. good size, large area to park several cars or even boats. only 10 min from St helens and 5 min to Scamander. 2 bathrooms so easy for 3 couples. great deck out front for sunny mornings

Summary: We had a fabulous stay at the Drop in Beach Haus! The home was well appointed with everything we could need and communication with our host was quick and easy. The beach was a few min walk away which made for some pretty fun memories. We highly recommend staying here if you are in the area. We hope to make it back one day! Thank you for the wonderful accommodations!
