Positive: The house is spacious and it had everything we needed for our weekend. 3 of the 5 bedrooms are ensuit and there is a shared bathroom which is perfect for a group of 10people. The bus outside the house can bring you to Howth, and the DART which is 5/10min away goes straight to the city center. We were greeted with a lovely hamper, and drinks and food were thoughtfully provided for our enjoyment.

Positive: great location and 5 mins to DART station which meant easy access to City Centre. David could not have been more helpful and the welcome pack was beyond anything we expected. The house has so many amenities and it was difficult to leave.

Positive: This is a beautiful, private home that suited our needs perfectly. We were a group of five women who were in Ireland to walk the Dingle Way and had three lovely days in Dublin. The house is a little distance away from downtown, but there is a bus stop just outside the gate of the property and the Killester DART (Dublin rapid transit train system) station is a 10-minute walk and the trains run frequently. We were there for three days, so we made good use of our visitor LEAP cards, which gave us unlimited use of the transit system. (We ordered them ahead from Canada and received them in the mail.) The house is very secure with a gate all around and it is in a quiet area. It is a 15-minute walk to the local grocery store, as well as a nice pub called The Beachcomber, where I had the best seafood chowder I have ever had! The host of the property, David, demonstrated kind Irish hospitality and responded to all of our questions promptly. When we arrived, there was a big basket of food for us (cookies, pasta and sauce, crackers, bread, jams, fruit, etc.) and there were also more groceries in the fridge, including milk, cream and some food for meals. This was very much appreciated after our long day of travel because it meant we didn't have to go back out to buy groceries. The beds were very comfortable. If you have children, there is a grassy area in the back (still within the property gates). There is parking within the gates. We definitely recommend this property.
Negative: Two of the three showers were very small, but if anyone needs more room, they could use the ensuite shower off of the master bedroom on the main floor. The washer and dryer worked well but the cycles are very long compared to North American machines, so you just need to plan ahead.
Summary: We had such a pleasant stay in this beautiful home.

Positive: Perfect flexible place for a mixed group of friends. Lots of space and plenty of bathrooms! We really appreciated the fridge full of food and well appointed kitchen. Great communication from the host David. We liked being outside of the city centre and near the coast but close enough to travel in quickly when needed. Easy access to the Dart and the airport. We were going to an event at Croke Park which was also close by.
Summary: Perfect place for a group just out of Dublin centre. Much more relaxed than a hotel.

Positive: David met us as soon as we arrived. He was able to give us the grand tour, show us where certain items were, and welcomed us with an amazing hamper of food. Truly made our stay in Dublin one that will be hard to forget!
Negative: The tank on the water heater is a little on the small side. So timing showers was required. Although the boost mode on the boiler was welcomed.
