This Duck Lake cabin is located 30 yards back from the lake, with two different access ways to water . It is owned by a couple who have worked for and around Glacier National Park since 1999. Their love for the Park, their associations with the locals, and passion for the outdoor lifestyle is what drew them to this property. The secluded, private cabin is only a short drive to and from the St. Mary’s entrance to the Park and the Many Glacier entrance.
After a full day of adventures in and around the Park you can retire to your cabin that has a fully equipped kitchen and cozy rooms for relaxing. There are 2 bedrooms- one with 2 Queen beds, the other with 2 Double beds, and a Futon pull-out that sleeps 2 located in the Living Room. A full size bathroom and laundry facilities round out your amenities.
**Also to be expected are the occasional cows that will stroll through the property. These cows are free-range cows around Duck Lake, and have access to any property via the lake. They are harmless, and we strive to clean up after them in between tenants!**
**We also encourage tenants to make sure they keep their food put away at night and when out and about during the day, so not to attract mice to the house.

Summary: This property provides excellent access to the Many Glacier and St. Mary locations of Glacier NP. Many Glacier ended up being our favorite section of the park with multiple visits to both Fishercap and Swiftcurrent Lakes. The property itself is as advertised - rustic. The furnishings and supplies are comfortable and ample. The lack of cable and internet facilitated our playing board games while we were there - quality family time! Several games are available there for use. There is a note at the property regarding the water - that it is safe for use, but they do offer five gallons of water for drinking that we made use of. We also found that the Many Glacier Hotel has water bottle filling stations that we also made use of. Doing laundry should have been part of the announcement. We had five shirts that obtained orange spots on them that we're hoping is rust and we may be able to remove successfully. After doing our own laundry, we did notice that the towels provided had orange spots on them too. Wishing we would have noticed that prior to using the washing machine. Understanding this additional risk would have been helpful.

Summary: This was an ideal location for St. Mary and Many Glacier sides of the park. Worked great for our family to wash clothes and make sandwiches daily.

Summary: Visited Glacier end of July beginning of August 2023. Very close and easy access to Many Glacier, St. Mary GTTSR and Two Medicine. Property was spotless, beds were comfy. It's a country setting, and the description was very accurate regarding the property and its amenities. We had a group of 6 adults, mostly just ate, slept and prepped for the day there. Kitchen had everything we needed. The W/D worked great, used them twice. An earlier review mentioned rodents; we saw no evidence of such and followed the requests to keep our food put away and we brought our own drinking water. I reached out once or twice to the owner for a question and received a quick response. On our last day we saw the neighbors' horses eating on the front lawn, a cool ending to an amazing trip! Very pleased with the place and would love to come back in a year or two to see more of Glacier and the area! Thank you!

Summary: Nice house, fairly remote. Convenient for entry into St. Mary Glacier and Many Glacier gates. No air conditioning. No GPS available, directions a bit hard to follow.

Summary: My friends and I rented the house close to Glacier National Park, for driving to Trail Heads for hiking. I would recommend this small house. Clean and remote. Close walk to Duck lake. Everything was as listed. " Take extra TP" I did have questions the week before we went. Directions? Drinking water? ect... It was not easy to get information from the Host This was a concern, when your planning a big trip far away.. only downside was communication with Host.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at this property! I was a little nervous with it only having one bathroom, but my family was able to make it work! Where its located, it makes it feel more private and my family enjoyed walking down to the lake. Its a cute little place and it was a great location to go to Glacier. My only recommendation would be to make sure you bring your own shampoo/conditioner and soap because they didn't offer it like the other VRBOs I've stayed.

Summary: The house was clean, well-equipped and comfortable. Erin was responsive which we appreciated. Expect to be isolated as the house is surrounded by growth with no internet, cell service or cable. First morning there, a bear strolled through the property and a herd of free-range cattle another morning. Easy access to Babb, St Mary's, Road to the Sun, Glacier National Park & Many Glacier.

Summary: Nice simple cabin in the middle of nowhere. Close access to Glacier thru Many Glacier and St Mary’s park entrances. Remote location. No cell service or Wi-Fi at this location but we didn’t mind. Duck lake itself was disappointing.
