Summary: We enjoyed a four night midweek stay at this beautiful property. The decor is truly stunning throughout the hotel , the restaurant excellent and staff attentive and helpful. The grounds are extensive and beautiful and the hotel is situated in a very rural area with plenty of interesting places to visit within easy driving distance. The dark night skies make for excellent star gazing!

Summary: Dumbleton Hall has undergone a huge multi-million pound refurbishment, and it shows. The finish combines beautiful finishes, sumptuous fabrics and age-worn character features which have been tastefully restored. The staff were all extremely polite and attentive, with the exception of one evening when we were left waiting to order drinks. The drinks were delivered and by way of an apology they were on the house. Things happen in any business but I do feel it's how these things are handled which matter. The bedroom we stayed in was very comfortable but we were surprised there was no mirror in the bedroom at all. I would've liked to have sat down in the room to get ready for the evening but had to use the bathroom, which is probably just an oversight and hopefully will be rectified. The addition of spa facilities would be welcome and befitting of such a gorgeous location. It is a bit off the beaten track and I'm sure a spa would only add to the appeal, along with offering weddings as it is ideal for that too. We will be back.

Summary: Lovely stay. All staff very friendly. Very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed relaxing by the open fire. Food was very nice.

Summary: Lovely stay at Dumbleton Hall Hotel. Place oozes style and character. Staff are just wonderful, friendly, efficient, and nothing is too much trouble. Yes maybe the rooms could do with a little tlc, but that almost adds to the charm of the place and the bed was extremely comfortable. Food was good and very reasonably priced – don’t think there was a main course on the menu for over £17.50. Great shame that the Hotel is shutting down soon and the fantastic staff are being made redundant – apparently a “refurbishment” is planned. Just hope the owners don’t lose the very essence of what makes it such a wonderful place to stay at the moment and turn it into some flash spa style establishment. Guess only time will tell.

Summary: Great property with beautiful grounds and wonderful service. The place is full of character and it was great fun exploring the grounds. Everyone was gracious and kind and we really enjoyed our stay in the Cotswold countryside. We also appreciated the hot breakfast. Highly recommend the place.

Summary: Lovely time at Dumbleton again Fantastic grounds in which to walk dogs and relaxed atmosphere about taking beloved pooch!! . Reception staff much friendlier than last stay especially check out this morning. Always a wonderful dinner and good menu. Very efficient staff especially Kate who is awesome.

Summary: Spacious room for a single, with great en-suite. Lovely view and wonderful peaceful grounds to walk in. Good for bird-watching. Lovely breakfast with excellent service.
