Dune Our Thing...Is a wonderful 4 bedroom cottage that was purchased new in 2002. Located in the beautiful Floridale Resort, this cottage is only 5 minutes to downtown, the Little Sable Lighthouse and Lake Michigan, and the Silver Lake Sand Dunes ORV area.
The cottage features 4 roomy bedrooms, 5 ROKU TV'S having extra sleeping space with a new queen sofa sleeper in living room, along with another new recliner sofa & matching recliner love seat. This home comfortably sleeps 12 people. The cottage also has one full bath with tub/shower combo, and a second bath with a shower only, a gorgeous living room with cathedral ceilings, Ceiling Fan, Window A/C, kitchen and dining room area.
Enjoy entertaining with family and friends while grilling on our huge 14 x 30 ft covered deck with cathedral ceilings, that has nice patio seating for 12 people. Rain or shine your sure to appreciate this space! There is ample room for parking in our spacious driveway.
Dune Our Thing boasts an extra lot with tons of room to play! Enjoy our badmiton set, & bring your baseball gloves and frisbee to enjoy in our double lot. Relax at our firepit with plenty of seating for campfires under the stars.
The game room down stairs has an Air Hockey table, Foosball Table, and Arcade style basketball hoop.
The heated pool and clubhouse are just a short walk away on our nature trail, called Spartan Walkway.
Dune Our Thing is located in the newest phase of Floridale Resort with private paved roads away from all the noise & traffic but great for biking and power walks. Come, Relax & Enjoy

Summary: Very well maintained home with all the amenitirs needed. The best part is the amazing deck, large enough for the home family to gather.

Summary: This is a great property for a large family/group. It's well stocked with linens and kitchen gear. We especially loved the huge porch and fire pit, both of which had plenty of seating! It was also super close to both Silver Lake and Lake Michigan, with a nice pool within walking distance. Only (small) complaints are that the carpets could all use a good shampooing/replacement and the kitchen lacks both a garbage disposal and a dishwasher, which makes cleaning up after meals a bit of a pain. We would stay again!

Summary: Our stay was great. There's so much to do with the kids nearby. When we did have an issue with a faulty fire alarm, the owner helped immediately.

Summary: We had an amazing time here. There was plenty of room to park and the cabin felt spacious! The location was great. The huge porch/deck was our favorite loved sitting there and enjoying the peace and quiet. Would definitely stay again!

Summary: Took a weeks vacation with my cousins family and my own, 4 parents and 8 kids ranging in age from 11-21. Planned on just using the house as a stepping off point to head out hiking, fishing and do other things, but ended up raining straight for three of the days. The place was still big enough for us to play games and give the kids their own space. Would definitely go back!

Summary: Overall great family experience, lots to do in the area, basement game room a hit, leather sofas comfortable, association pool clear and warm, large porch & grill great for outdoor eating. A few negatives: association beach not good for swimming, had to go to state park beach or one of several Lake Michigan beaches. Also, kitchen really small and stove /refrigerator could use a good cleaning. But by far it was an enjoyable family experience and we made lots of fun memories!!!

Summary: Had a good stay here, was a nice cabin and clean. Very roomy, loved the porch. The basement was musty but otherwise no problems. Was a short walk to the pool which we loved the pool, had a great slide and was warm!

Summary: This property is as described and reviewed. The porch is huge, and includes 2 tables and a gas grill. The firepit has nice and plentiful seats. The window air-conditioner helps to keep the main level a reasonable comfortable temperature. The kitchen is small, however still very much functional. There are plenty of pots, pans and utensils. There are no seasonings, with the exception of salt & pepper. So bring everything with you need gor cooking. Great location!!!
