Summary: The building and setting are stunning. Our courtyard room was cute, cozy and comfortable. Pillows were poor and hairdryer not great, tv also kept turning off. The main house feels uncared for and the exterior in serious need of repair - such and shame to see. The grounds were also looking tired and pathways over grown etc. the castle pub is obviously the focus - this was lovely - and food was great!! Our waitress was outstanding - but other staff in bar unfriendly. Nicole on front desk was helpful and made suggestions for our stay. Pool looked nice, but maybe needed a clean - we didn’t have time to enjoy it. The main issue was the hotel is advertised as a B&B. It is not - as no breaks fast is available, and no fridge etc in rooms. We had limited time and I booked it as breakfast was shown as being available. The restaurant is not open for breakfast and there is nowhere close by to get any - you have to go into the town. Nicole was super friendly through and offered me extra coffee. Overall a nice experience but the property needs some tlc and breakfast should be supplied or it made clear that it’s but available.

Summary: We researched many properties in Natchez, MS before selecting Dunleith Historic Inn. We hated to leave but will definitely return again. Besides being a beautiful well-maintained property, having their own restaurant and pub on-site was an added plus. Great menu; delicious food; very friendly staff; and only a few steps back to our lovely and very comfortable room.

Summary: This used to be a bed-and-breakfast until a hotel chain bought it around 2016. It looks as if there have been no updates since 2016. Our bathroom had tile movement and a lot of grout missing. Water was dripping from the ceiling above the toilet. They only give you the minimum towels and one soap. If it gets a little chilly, you do not have extra blankets. You only see someone when you check in so if you want any of these things you have to go back to another building and the attendant checks out early, at least while we were there. The hotel no longer offers breakfast. The bed, you roll into the center, it hasn’t changed or been upgraded in 10 years. They do have a pool however the Jacuzzi was not warm. For the good-the manager helped us carry our luggage up the stairs when we arrived, there was good water pressure, they have a free tour included of the mansion. When you check in the attendant is very nice. If they updated and repaired the rooms, if they had an attendant 24 hours since it is now a hotel, and if they had breakfast, this place would be much better.
