Positive: The host was a nice man who showed us the apartment and provided everything we needed to know. The apartment was cosy and had all the utilities you need. The Location was perfect, 10 seconds from the promenade, and very close to the beach.
Negative: Communication is not the host's strongest side. - We informed our host several days before our departure day about the exact time we needed to leave to catch our train to the airport. He had agreed to meet us so he could get the keys, but never showed up. We were traveling with a baby, and standing outside the apartment at 7:30 in the morning, waiting for a host who didn’t arrive at the agreed time was simply unacceptable. - It took several days for him to answer where we could throw our garbage ( we have a baby, this is critical). - When we booked the place, we asked for another check-in time, but he never answered. Overall, we are giving the host a low rating due to inadequate communication and not honoring agreed-upon arrangements. That said, the apartment, the location, and Antibes itself is amazing!

Positive: This duplex was a fantastic base for our time in Antibes. The host was thoughtful, flexible with both check-in and check-out, and shared some great local tips. Everything—from communication to handling the deposit—was smooth and easy. The apartment itself was spacious, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated being able to borrow beach gear like parasols and chairs—it made our beach days extra comfortable. And the location? Absolutely ideal. Tucked into the heart of Old Antibes, yet peaceful and quiet. Just a short stroll to Plage de la Gravette, surrounded by charming restaurants, and with both parking and the train station within easy reach. A spot we’d happily return to—highly recommended!

Positive: The location is outstanding, could not be more central to the old town, the bars & restaurants and the town beach yet in a quiet, idyllic, secluded spot. The accommodation was spotless, had all facilities and quirky in design and quaint. Definitely come back.
Negative: The quirkiness in design e.g. bedroom on a mezzanine in the eaves whilst v.clever, a little impractical for a 6 footer but happy to come to terms with it given all the positives.

Positive: It was a great apartment nestled in an old building covered with vines. Lovely view. Must be very beautiful in a flower season. We were greeted by the host in the apartment to hand over the key and hand in the security deposit. The deposit was promptly returned back to us the day before we left. It was nice to find a bottle of rose wine and bottled water in the fridge as welcome gift. The apartment had everything you need, kitchen was well equipped and stocked, washing machine worked well. The bathtub was a bit tall to step out, so use a little caution. We tucked the shower curtain in the bathtub and no water came out. The bathroom dried quickly after shower. Hot water was good. We stayed there for 5 days and used it as the base to explore other nearby cities. Very convenient location, close to market, restaurant, and walking distance to train station. Loved the stay.
Negative: Wifi was slow, it's a DSL line. But it didn't bother us too much. One of us installed a sim card on iPhone that kept us online everywhere we went. The sim card was the best purchase we made on the three week trip. We got it from a Vodafone store in Lisbon for 35 euro, good for 30 days anywhere in Europe.

Positive: The location can’t be beat. It’s even the subject of several paintings and postcards it’s so quaint. There is every amenity one might need. The bed is large and comfortable.
Negative: The tub/hand held shower is a little difficult to navigate.
Summary: Living like a resident in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
