Positive: The house was in a great location. I was able to walk to the cute little downtown area. Plenty of shops and restaurants. I was a female traveling alone and felt completely safe the entire stay. The house was immaculate. The bed extremely comfortable and pillows. I appreciated the coffee pods. They even had soap, conditioner, shampoo, q tips, cotton balls, etc which added a nice touch
Negative: I wish there would have been a curtain on the kitchen window. There was no blind or curtain on the kitchen window and I came into the house at night so couldn't tell what was out the window. Also there were stairs leading down to what seemed like a basement. I wish there would have been a deadbolt on the door.
Summary: Exceptionally Clean and Perfect location!

Positive: The location was fantastic! Close to Old St Charles and the Katy trail, easy access to hwy 70. Street parking was easy to find. The duplex itself was comfortable and spacious with a defined living room, kitchen stocked with what you need for cooking and making hot beverages, an office with a desk and good wifi, bathroom with expected amenities, comfortable bed in the bedroom, and a basement with a washer/dryer. The unit was pet friendly and we would stay again.
Negative: There were a few issues with the property: first, the kitchen faucet was loose on the sink body, and it leaked. I let maintenance know, and they got someone out the next morning, but only the looseness of the sink was fixed. The dripping was constant unless we turned the water off beneath the sink each time we used it. Second, the bathroom lights, the light fixture, had 4 light bulbs, but only one was on when we arrived. I noticed the bulbs were loose, so I screwed them in, and all of them flickered badly, so we managed with one good light bulb. Third, there is a nice small yard that my dog enjoyed for short outings when supervised, but one gate would not stay closed. The hook/eye latch opened in the smallest breeze, and the gate would swing open. I remedied this by using a rubber band to hold the latch closed, but the gate would not be secure for any dog who might test a gate. Finally, with it being a pet friendly duplex, sometimes your neighbors might leave their dogs alone to bark for hours. Thankfully, turning the bathroom fan on drowned out that noise.
Summary: Lovely place with a few small things that could be better. We would return :)
