Summary: Cleanliness was great. Encounter with desk check in person & 2 cleaning associates created a good experience. They were cordial, smiled, respectful & made me feel like they appreciated us being there. The hotel is older & needs some minor updates but overall a decent hotel especially compared to other recent stays we have had at major chain hotels. They are in need of a larger breakfast area & more complete food options. Very limited selection & only a couple tables for guests to eat breakfast on. The best takeaway I can say is that the cleanliness of this hotel was better than a recent Royal Caribbean cruise we were on & the hotels we have stayed at over the past 5yrs or so. The hotel was full due to a festival in the town & the associates were friendly & approachable. Due to the age of the hotel there were minor bathroom updates needed but the fixtures were exceptionally clean. The beds were fine with pillow options. The carpet in our room was in good shape & clean. The hallway carpet appeared like quality carpet but perhaps older & needing an update. My cleanliness standards are extremely high & this hotel delivered.

Summary: It was quiet, comfortable, clean. The sofa/suite area should have more lighting. Only the natural light from the window lit the area.

Summary: Mattress could use an upgrade—had a big dip with a hump in the middle. The shower was great. Staff came in the room even with the do not disturb sign on the door. Not a bad price.

Summary: The staff was friendly. The rooms were lovely and clean and well appointed. After a long day of driving, the hot water and plenty of water pressure in the shower was a miracle. For the price, couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: We arrived around 10PM and the lobby was locked up like it was a Super 8 in a crime infested city. I had to talk to the desk clerk through a 1” space at the bottom of a window. Due to a family illness we had 1 of our daughters that had to unexpectedly stay in the room with us and they charged us $30 for her. Because the lobby was locked up, we had to go back outside and enter through one of the exterior doors.

Summary: The front lobby area was locked at 10 PM requiring us to go to a door. We didn’t know the location to get into the building at very cold temperatures. In the morning, the sign said the lobby opens at 6 AM and we had an early departure. We wanted some breakfast before we left and we waited until 6:20 AM and still no one showed up and unlocked the lobby area and the breakfast area. Will not stay there again nor recommend it
