Recently completed, this stunning 3400-sf chalet rests atop a hill on 20 acres of private woodland on the south shores of Lake Content. Designed for multi-generational families and other large groups, you will find everything you need for a peaceful and enjoyable vacation or retreat up north. Our private dock gives you access to 1880 acres of the Big St Germain Lake chain for great fishing, boating and swimming. You will also have an acre of shallow sandy waterfront for family fun or just relaxing in the sun. Speaking of fun, when you‘ve had enough swimming, watersports, and fishing (if at all possible!) you will find the Heart of Vilas County 52-mile paved bike trail at the end of our driveway. Explore our property or the Awassa Nature Preserve and Hiking Trail which is only ¾ mile away. Golf? The St Germain Golf Course is only a 2-minute drive. For you snowmobile enthusiasts, the Bo-Boen trail is directly accessible from our driveway. At the end of the day, you can enjoy the private solace of a fire in the furnished firepit area and view a night sky filled with stars (at times even the northern lights!). Even with all this privacy, the St Germain community park, playground, and grocery store are only a mile and a half away! Boat rentals, kayaks and paddleboards are available in town as well as a local bait shop.
Our cabin is an efficiently designed three-level luxury home with a view of the lake that will take your breath away. It boasts 6 private bedrooms and a loft sleeping area – all but one with lake views. You’ll also have 3 ½ baths and full-width front porch and lakeside deck with gas grill and plenty of seating to watch those beautiful morning sunrises. The Great Room has a gas fireplace and large sectional for enjoying the spectacular view through a wall of windows or watching TV on those rainy days inside. The kitchen has an incredible amount of cabinet and pantry space, a dual-fuel range, a microwave, and a French-door refrigerator. At the end of the granite countertop, you will find a 6-person bar with an ice maker. The hickory dining table seats up to 12 and the tables on the lake-side deck seat another 12. The lower level is a walk-out with its own living space, mini-kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator, bar seating for six, table seating for another four persons, and a TV. Walk down the hillside stairs or trail to the lake shore area with a picnic table and private dock space for your boat and other water toys. Another table with four chairs sits on the dock for relaxing and viewing all the eagles and loons during the warm months. Summary: The property was beautiful and very clean. The amenities were all there including the fully stocked kitchen, firewood etc. We wanted a quiet reflective family weekend for my parents 50th and this was a nice location for just that. The sweet view from the deck provided an opportunity for quiet moments with coffee in the morning and nice views of eagles flying by. The expansive living room was nice for sweet conversation in the evenings.There was so much space, far more than we needed or used but every corner was spotless, including the floor to ceiling windows in the family room.The owners were immediately responsive by text which was nice.We rented off season, first week in May, and naturally the boat dock, table by the lake and Kyaks were not available. I do not hold that against them as we never asked and should have thought of that. There is a nice public boat launch just minutes away which met our needs for a brief visit.

Summary: We had a group of 12 friends. There was plenty laughs, games and food. The cabin was very spacious which was so nice to each have our own space if needed. Everything was available and hostess was excellent.

Summary: This was a fabulous place to stay for our family trip. We came up to celebrate the life of my Uncle who passed away in May. There were 14 adults and 2 children under 3. There was enough space that we were never on top of each other and the property and location is just fantastic.

Summary: Our families enjoyed a wonderful stay at Eagles Bluff! The property is gorgeous and just a quick bike ride away from restaurants in St. Germain. We spotted a bald eagle from the back deck within minutes of arriving! The bedrooms all have plenty of space with comfortable beds, and the kids loved sleeping in the bunk room together. The kitchen is fully stocked, everything was very clean, and you can tell that great care is taken in maintaining this beautiful home. We rented a boat one day and were able to explore Lake Content and head out to Big St. Germain Lake as well. Then we docked right at the house. The water around the dock is shallow and the bottom is sandy so the kids loved playing there. The only negative of our trip was that we couldn't stay longer! Thank you for a great vacation, we can't wait to come back!

Summary: We booked this house for a New Years celebration. We had 8 adults and 8 kids. The stay was wonderful! Even tho we didn’t get any snow there this year, we enjoyed and woods and the lake. Very clean, cozy rooms and the atmosphere. The view is breathtaking. The owner is always responsive, helpful and very kind! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for everything!

Summary: Excellent home to stay at for family gathering with multiple families! We had 6 different couples and each had their own room for comfort and privacy. The en-suite on the main floor was the perfect room for our older parents, complete with door to the deck. We choose this property specifically because of the multiple bedrooms. Parents did not have to do any stairs except for two steps into house; it was great! The kitchen table sat 12 comfortably for family meals. Kids could sit at the island. We brought bags of ice, griddle, measuring cups and mixing bowls- but none of that was needed because the house has all the amenities you could need! Plenty of plates, silverware, griddle, toaster, coffee machine, electric mixer, and an even an under counter ice machine! There were enough mugs, wine glasses, glasses for our large group. Loft area has comfortable bunks too. Great stay, great views. Already planning our trip for next year to book again! This checks all the boxes.
