Positive: The younger guy working there was so lovely and accommodating to us. On the first morning, he brought us breakfast the first day which was great and made us coffees for free! Definitely a highlight eating a nice breakfast with the insane view. Such a lovely experience with the scenery, one of the best spots on the river.

Negative: On our second night the owner brought us breakfast. So basic and different to the night before and didn’t even bother to ask if we wanted a drink. The rooms are EXTREMELY basic, only one tiny ledge where the shower towels were put, no cabinets or anything to hang stuff on. We couldn’t get on the wifi in our rooms whenever we wanted data/wifi we’d have to go sit in the restaurant, we told the owner and he didn’t really care. Grateful for the younger worker as he’s the only one who made us feel welcomed and comfortable.

Summary: Pretty location but few issues worth mentioning

Positive: Great location. Friendly staff. Good communication and organised transport and provided breakfast and coffee.

Negative: Bed sheets unfortunately appeared slept in. Toilet had also been very recently used and not cleaned

Positive: The Shala River is absolutely stunning. It’s most amazing when it’s sunny out too! I liked that I had someone come from Shkoder, drive me to the boat and then come with me on to the boat all the way to the guest hostel. I was never confused on what to do. I loved my room, I had one with a view. The room was comfortable and the bathrooms were clean.

Negative: The shower is a little strange because it’s directly in the bathroom so water will definitely get all over the bathroom floor. Bring shower shoes like flip flops! But it wasn’t that big of a deal :)

Positive: The hotel, food and location were already great. But what really made it perfect was the hospitality and kindness of the staff. They were super helpful, made a super cosy campfire at night and even arranged for cake and fireworks for my daughter’s birthday. We’ll never forget and can not recommend this place more!!!

Positive: The location was right on the river side which led to beutiful and majestic views. The staff were nice and lit a fire for us at night. We visited in April and we had a heater at night which was very comfortable. We also booked transport through this accommodation from koman lake and back as well as to Valbona

Negative: The food options are a little limited and even the ones offered on the menu are not always available. The breakfast is very sweet but filling.
