Basement Floor of a Gorgeous East Layton Rambler home. Approximately 1950 Sq Ft. of floorspace - 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Sleeping accommodations for up to 6 guests. 3 "large" bedrooms - 2 bedrooms with queen size beds and 1 bedroom with trundle (twin size) beds. There are 2 full size bathrooms with tub/shower. It includes a gorgeous living area, a kitchen/dining area, entry/sitting area, a quiet reading area with a recliner. Living area has large TV and gas fireplace. The full kitchen has gas stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. There is a 700 sq. ft. patio with furniture and a gas BBQ grill for your use. You will be able to sit, relax and absorb the gorgeous mountain view. You also have access to the upstairs deck (also 700 sq. ft.). You might even get a glimpse of the herd of deer that live in the adjacent "nature" habitat.

Summary: We loved every minute of our stay at this beautiful home. Dan (Owner) met us as we pulled into the driveway, and even helped us get our luggage into the home. Everything was perfect, from the comfort of each room, the spaciousness and openness of the home, to the stunning view of the mountains. A very spacious grassy area for our grandkids to play, and lots of seating areas inside and out... We have found our place when we visit our kids in Layton, Utah!

Summary: We were welcomed by our host to a tour of the spacious home, where the kitchen was stocked w/ OJ, bottled water, muffins, coffee, and gourmet cookies. Furnishings are new and tasteful, so much nicer than a hotel. Evenings on the veranda or upper deck afford a gorgeous view of the mountains. We enjoyed Corn Hole on the lawn and even saw deer! All-in-all, we highly recommend this relaxing rental.

Summary: We discovered this property after our initial booking at another location canceled within days of our scheduled arrival. I could not be more grateful for the cancellation because I would not have stayed with Dan and his wife at this house. The downstairs bottom floor accommodations were amazing. Great care has gone in to make the guests very comfortable. The views of the Wasatch mountains to the south and peekaboo views of great Salt Lake and antelope Island are also amazing. The hosts are extremely polite and enjoy conversing with their guests or content to allow the guests to be left alone if that is their desire. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a quiet escape to the Salt Lake area, well worth staying in Layton.

Summary: We rented this beautiful basement VRBO in Layton in a quiet neighborhood, and were thrilled with the brand new renovations and decorations. The rental was spotless, and they thought of everything, from the great communication to checking to make sure we were comfortable and had everything that we needed. The neighborhood is friendly and lovely to take a walk in, with Hill Air Force Base nearby so that you can see military planes flying and doing maneuvers. The Queen beds were new and comfortable, and they even had trundle beds for the children, so it can comfortably sleep six. There are two tables for outdoor seating, which is wonderful for watching the wildlife (especially the beautiful birds). We really enjoyed visiting Antelope State Park (which you can reach by driving down Antelope Drive), and we also took advantage of the Frontrunner to travel to Salt Lake City to visit Temple Square and the Nature Museum. The food is wonderful is Ogden (we recommendation the Harp and Hound and the Ogden River Brewery). You will love this rental, and it will be a wonderful addition to your trip.

Summary: The property is wonderful. We have stayed there twice now. The entire feel has a home feeling that allows you to feel comfortable and relaxed. The furnishings are brand new and up to date with access to a grill and patio outside. Taking a walk in the neighborhood is beautiful. I highly recommend it.
