Positive: beautiful location and architecture. i like that it was quiet and peaceful. extremely clean as staff made up our room daily. they were very accommodating when we requested make-up room service at a different time than their usual schedule. every single one of the staff was helpful, polite and kind. they were never without a smile and a warm greeting. i’m very happy that they were very kind to my elderly parents. breakfast at sarkies was amazing with such a wide range of dishes that we were spoilt for choice. my parents really enjoyed the local dishes. the staff was very helpful, warm and prompt with asking after us for any requests we may have.

Positive: We have stayed in E&O before and this time our stay, the rooms are upgraded. Breakfast we had at the 6th level which is a small portion but the view is still as beautiful as i remembered it. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Negative: nothing much just that the outdoor area at the platform side was quite dirty with birds poo.

Positive: We are returnees to this hotel. Old charm. Very friendly staff. Will come back again. We love the Heritage Wing.
Negative: Vanity tops need to be thoroughly cleaned. Some dusty corners and toothpaste marks. Bathroom doors need maintenance. Some rooms along the same corridor have faulty doors that slam very loudly.
Summary: Lovely hotel. Just needs a little bit of maintenance

Positive: They upgraded our room to corner suite. We were beyond grateful for the experience. Everything was great. There were lot of choices for breakfast and the food was also delicious. Never skip hotel breakfast if you stay here. Definitely will come again! :)

Positive: These I did not like. The corner suite was great but it needs proper maintenance. Safety issue in bathroom with full height glass not having a distinguishable band to stop people walking into it. Cupboard doors and other closures need maintenance to make it easier to open/shut these doors/partitions.
