Stunning views west across Upper Kennebec Valley to Mt. Washington 89.46 miles away. View from your bed, the interior balcony/observatory and farmers porch. Off-grid with solar, drilled well, set on 105 acres of hardwood forest. Marked walking trails (and occasional Moose) on property. ATV trails are tight up the road, and accessible via Mahoney Hill Road. Secluded, quiet...harmony with nature. Stunning night skies, near zero light pollution.
Well appointed, tasteful décor. Plenty of solar electricity. Full kitchen. Jotul propane heat stove, pull-out couch, outside porch with two rocking chairs. Loft has rocking chair sitting area. Summary: This is by far the best place! Breath taking views, absolutely beautiful cabin with every thing you could need for your stay. I'm sorry we only booked it for 3 nights, host was friendly and very helpful! We would highly recommend to any one looking for a getaway. We plan to make this an annual stop!

Summary: The owner was very welcoming on arrival. He was also available for any concerns or questions. The property was very well respresented in his description. We loved each day and night we spent in this cozy, new cabin! The cabin was pristine, nothing concerning at all about its cleanliness. The views of the mountains were beyond breathtaking and it was very quiet! Certainly felt like we were miles away from everyone but we were close to multiple small towns. We enjoyed our stay very much and would go back in a heartbeat!

Summary: My stay at Eagle’s Perch was exactly what I was looking for. For a month I enjoyed the well built, well equipped cabin, walking trails, and peace and quiet. Dominic and Sandra are wonderful people and their support team is excellent, too. The view of the mountains can’t be beat. This cabin won’t disappoint.

Summary: The booking and reservation was very easy and communication was smooth and seamless. A passcode was provided to us to unlock the Dropbox outside the cabin to get our key. Owner also came to show us all the top notch features in this brand new cabin. It is 100% solar powered and very sustainable. Had plenty of electricity even in January. This cabin sits on top of a small hill and overlooks trees, a beautiful sunset, and off to the distance you can see many mountain ranges (I think even Mt. Washington!). Cabin is really cozy and perfect for a winter or summer getaway. We came up here to go skiing at Sugarloaf Mountain, an 1hr drive away, and had so much fun. Cabin is tucked away in the woods so plenty of privacy, very quiet, and no light pollution so you can see stars at night. Also still very close and convenient to local supermarket. Highly recommend staying here!
