Positive: Modern building with reasonably large rooms. Lots of flowers and the staff fell over themselves to be helpful. Local food prepared by the small staff - enjoyable.

Negative: Young staff - trying their hardest to please - meant that you tend to take a handful of issues in your stride.

Summary: The staff were very sweet and very helpful. Basic, small scale modern hotel.

Positive: Our stay at Eco Resort Kandy was just perfect! The owners are not only very kind people but also gave us a lot of recommendations and helped us with every question we had. The resort is very clean, comfortable and furnished with great taste! We are very looking forward to visit their second place at the east coast! I can only recommend this place!

Positive: The rooms are OK, and the pool area is OK.

Negative: The restrooms smell moldy. Something needs to be done to dry out the restroom walls. The pool area is OK. By looking at the pictures posted, I thought this place was going to be OK. But it was not as I expected. OK, for the price, I guess. I booked 3 rooms, and they are moldy and smelly as they don't have a system to dry out wet walls in bathrooms. That is very unhealthy.. I'm so sorry to say this. I don't want anyone to go through what we went through. I asked them if they could offer food, they said yes. But when we were ready to order, most of the items on the menu were not available. And they don't taste as fresh at all. I wouldn't recommend ordering food from them. I wanted to write this not to complain but to let them know to improve things a little better in order to be successful. I appreciate whatever they did for us. The owner and the staff look friendly, but they should take these into conversation.
