Summary: Awesome places to stay. The only thing is is if there’s a lot going on the only way up and down is elevator and it is slow but other than that, it’s fine in the middle of everything that you want to be at hotel is very awesome..

Summary: Place was crowded when we arrived on Saturday and pool was smaller than I expected. Room was clean Bathroom was dated and not clean had to kill a bug. Elevators sucked took to long to cycle up and down. Breakfast was the same all 4 days. Pool area was not clean unorganized.

Summary: They had remodeled the hallway but the bathroom could definitely use a refresh. The fixtures were clean but the floor looked dingy probably due to age. Great view from the balcony. Close to all of Gatlinburg. I would stay here again.

Summary: My wife and I enjoyed this location 6 yearscago with a couple of our grandchildren. This latest trip was a chance for us to get away on our own and enjoy some down time. With it being in downtown Gatlinburg, you can easily walk wherever you want. There's plenty to do if you're traveling with children or if it's just a couple's trip, you can take your pick of activities. You can certainly drive back to Pigeon Forge easily if you want to visit The Island but for my money and the ease of walking, Gatlinburg and the Edgewater Hotel is the place to stay. Every dtaff member we encountered was pleasant and didn't ignore us. We always choose a room that overlooks the Little Pigeon River that flows below and with a view of downtown. The balcony is small but 2 people can sit out and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or even people watch throughput the day. Every time we go, this is wherevwe stay.

Summary: “Mountain view” was noting more than the parking lot and pool. I would definitely recommend “River View”. The hotel and rooms were nice and clean however the bathroom had a terrible musty/mildew smell.

Summary: The location was perfect (just one road over from the strip) and everyone we met was very kind and helpful. Parking can be difficult and this is due to a small parking lot and bigger trucks and suv wanting to park in the middle of three parking spaces (two beams separating parking spaces by three’s). Breakfast was okay and can get busy! More food variety will be nice. The housekeepers were great in getting us more items that was needed. We loved the pool and the hot tubs. The elevator can be slow. The room we had was very clean and had plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The tub was sooooo slow to drain but the water pressure was great.
