Positive: Edzell House was a perfect retreat and get-together location for family coming together. Plenty of space, an excellent kitchen, and great location.
Negative: Given it was a 'Summer Jindabyne' holiday rental, it would have been good if beach towels were provided, and perhaps kayaks for the lake (we hired them for the duration, but given the overall cost of the this rental, I think perhaps providing a couple of kayaks to enjoy the lake would have been worthwhile.)

Positive: We felt that the house was in a great location on the edge of the Jindabyne lake. We had a brilliant time outside with the fire pit and looking at the sunsets. The inside fire places were also great. We enjoyed the billiard table and the basketball/tennis court. Overall we had a great time.
Negative: The kitchen was small for our group of 9 men. We also found that the main fireplace does allow a fair bit of smoke to escape in to the home so you need to be careful of how you manage the fire.
Summary: Brilliant stay at Edzell.
