Positive: Had such a lovely time staying at this apartment, the apartment was super tidy and very homely, and included eveything you could ever need including lots of kitchen supplies, a washing machine, airer and dishwasher. The cupboards were also also stocked with pasta, teas, coffees and other bits and bobs, as well as the bathroom having toothbrushes, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, which was a lovely touch. They even included chocolates on the beds on arrival which was another sweet touch. Ruben and his family were lovely hosts and replied to any questions very quickly. We actually met Ruben as we were heading out for one of our tours, and he was very welcoming, he also very kindly offered us a late checkout as we were leaving for our flight was at 12:30. The shower also gets very hot, which is needed after a cold day in the snow. Would definitely recommended this apartment.
Negative: Not a dislike, but (as advertised) the apartment is not in Tromsø city centre, it is about a 15-20 minute walk to the bus stop and then the bus takes about 20/30 minutes to get into the city centre. The buses come frequently and on time. This wasn’t an issue for us but it you are doing any morning tours that start early (such as the whale one at 5am) a taxi might be a better option. We really liked where the apartment was located as it was a lovely, quiet neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre

Positive: Nice little flat with a kitchen, a living room, bedroom, and bathroom. The kitchen has all kind of utilities and pots so you can cook a proper meal there. They even stock a bunch of things like soap in the bathroom, which we didn't expect. There is a supermarket and a bus stop nearby. However, we rented a car for our holiday, for which there was a parking spot. There are two little children upstairs that can make some noise when they play. The host does mention this in the description, and we have a little son of our own, so for us, it was no problem at all. However, if somebody is easily bothered by noise coming from the flat above, this might not be the perfect place for them. It was very nice to meet Ruben and his family, and we hope that we can visit again some time.
Summary: Nice flat in a nice location with a great host.

Positive: We loved the property and Ruben was a fantastic host! We arrived and it was super clean and there were little chocolates on the bed which was lovely! He was very responsive and very helpful with anything we needed! We gave us information about where we could see the Northern Lights, and when one of us woke up with severe leg cramp, he was very quick with helping us and brought us some pain relief! We would definitely come back! What a lovely place and trip!

Positive: The appartment was very cozy with all the amenitires one needs and in a quiet part of town. The host was nice and let us borrow snowshoes. About 10 min walk away from a lovely convenience store (Eide Handel) that offers fresh fish, and the bus stop that takes you to Trømso. Would recommend.
