Positive: The location is very good, within walking distance of the town. The view of the Eiger from our terrace was amazing. The facilities are modern, comfortable and clean. We ordered breakfast and it was varied and delicious. Staff are lovely.

Positive: This won’t be a surprise but the view - incredible. The property is a walk away from Grindelwald (very steep) but this is fantastic as it’s so quiet - I was there on a Saturday night and the town was super busy. Juri the manager was very responsive to my questions in advance - super warm and friendly. Amazingly comfortable and well appointed room - with a HUGE bathroom (and a fab hairdryer). Great, simple breakfast offer with more of the superb view. Very good price point for Grindelwald.
Negative: The steep walk back (which is well documented and wasn’t a surprise) didn’t bother me, but could be tricky if you have heavy luggage.
Summary: Stunning view of the Eiger. I could’ve stayed all year. Lovely lodge with friendly service.

Negative: they are outside town, but charge for parking. Not sure how to get there without car... I guess it's possible, but hard.

Positive: Large, clean, modern room with stunning views. May initially seem expensive, but actually good value compared to other properties in the same town.
Negative: Given the location, having to pay extra for parking seemed a bit steep (as did the walk back after a glass of wine!) but this is made clear in the description, so can't really complain.
