Positive: Room was spacious and comfortable. All staff very helpful and professional ! Breakfast great each morning and dinner menu and drinks very reasonable and good food. Wait staff wonderful!

Negative: Everything was great and I am pretty picky about hotel accommodations.

Summary: I would stay at El Dorado again when visiting Cuenca!!

Positive: Bed was comfortable and I’m pretty picky about hotel beds. Room was spacious, bathroom very nice, and room had a mini frig. Free breakfast was wonderful! All staff were helpful and courteous. Small grocery store steps away from hotel and only 1 -2 blocks from Central Park.

Negative: Would be nice to have a fan in the room as there is no air conditioning.

Positive: The Wi-Fi was great in the except that you had to reconnect each time upon returning to the room. The breakfast was okay. The dining room was suitable for the first night.

Negative: Elevator very slow.

Summary: Nice location in the heart of the historic city but need to be aware of pick pockets.
