Positive: I thought that for a two-star place, everything we needed was there. We had a mini fridge and air con which were great, and the shower was decent. There was a nice shared space outdoor courtyard area to sit, and a shared kitchen space which was handy.
Negative: The lock on the ensuite bathroom door didn't work, not a problem as we were a couple, but I could see how it might embarrass people who really need bathroom privacy. The door did still slide shut though. Also we should have received an email on the morning of our stay clarifying where to get our room key, but never received the email, so had to ring the front desk and attempt in my rusty Spanish to explain the situation. We were only outside for a minute or two though before being let in and given our keys, but I had thought we would pick them up from the key box on the exterior of the property with a box code.

Positive: - Very easy self check in - Kitchen available for all guests - Very nice terrace and patio - Great location, close to the beach, bus stop next to the hotel with buses going every few minutes to the city center, grocery store close by, cute local cafe right in front of the hotel
Negative: - A little bit loud at night. The sounds were not from the hotel but rather from neighboring buildings or street

Positive: This is our second time here, and we can notice the huge changes in servise to make guests feel more comfortable. Will definitely come back.
Negative: The warm water takes some time to run.

Positive: - very clean!! - room service every day - new and cozy rooms - nice seating areas - silent fridge in the room
Negative: - extreme noises during the week!! - some rooms are still being renovated We were not informed about the construction work and we didn't even receive an apology. The hotel is highly recommended once the renovation is complete.

Positive: Good location, it wasn't difficult to park for free our rental car in the area, decent cafes/breakfast next to the property.
Negative: A/C didn't work, it was a bit noisy as our windows faced an occupied street.
