Positive: The apartment was nice and comfy.Every morning a nice breakfast and spicy african tea.They really take care of the people staying there.I will go back there on my next visit.

Negative: The road up leading to the apartment is very rocky and hard to reach by car.I would suggest that you use a boda.

Positive: The place was comfortable and well secured. It is a modern building with about six suites. The breakfast was good, and the owner's son took me to a nearby place for a cheap, local dinner. The woman caretaker was above and beyond caring, witty and smart. She was relatable and very competent, making me feel at home on my first night in Uganda. The place was clean, quiet, prepared a delicious and generous breakfast with extra fruit and the shower was hot. The kitchen had a gas stove and fridge.

Negative: The Wifi was intermittent, the caretaker worked on it. The road off the main street leading to the place is a little rough on the wheels, but normal for Kampala. The neighborhood is very local and safe, the compound is contrasting.

Summary: Excellent Stay - Give the Young Caretaker Woman a Bonus!

Positive: The facilities that have been put at the apartment to ensure our stay was comfortable were exceptional for example the extra condiments, internet, breakfast provided. Jackie and Shaban ensured all our needs were catered for and were available 24/7. Kudos to them!

Negative: The road leading to the apartments was not very great but I would not fault the property since most roads are like that.

Summary: Home away from home!
