Summary: Very nice house, lovely hostess - we enjoyed it very much. If you want a house with a view on the mountains and back to basics for your family, this is worth booking

Summary: Prima huis, alles is aanwezig, weliswaar een beetje gedateerd, maar dat maakte ons niet zoveel uit. Het ligt mooi zonnig, heeft rolluiken en houten luiken, waardoor je bij heel warm weer mooi de boel kunt dichtdoen en dus de warmte goed buiten kunt houden wat erg fijn is. Zodra de zon daar schijnt is het gauw tegen de 30 graden of warmer in de zomer. Wat ook heel leuk was, was dat er een beekje door de tuin loopt met daarbij een bankje om te kunnen zitten. Er is een mooie tuin bij en een groot balkon aan de achterkant van het huis waardoor je altijd wel in de zon of schaduw kunt zitten, wat je ook wilt. Wat iets minder leuk was, was dat er vlakbij een doorgaande weg ligt, waardoor je het verkeer redelijk goed kunt horen, maar 's avonds werd het lekker rustiger. Verder zal niet iedereen het fijn vinden dat er geen Wifi is, wij vonden dat geen probleem. Alles bij elkaar zeer zeker aan te bevelen als redelijk centrale uitvalsbasis in de Vogezen, alles is goed binnen een redelijke tijd aan te rijden. De Madame die alles daar regelt is een vriendelijke vrouw. Gewoon een prima groot vakantiehuis voor een fijne vakantie!

Summary: Aankomst was prima en werden goed ontvangen. De accommodatie was prima op een paar punten na. Vooral erg gedateerd was de binnenzijde accommodatie. Tuin rondom het huis was erg mooi en ruimtelijk met een stromend beekje. De omgeving rond Gerbépal is prachtig. We hebben ons hier goed vermaakt.

Summary: Le chalet est confortable et au calme. L'hôtesse sympathique et discrète. Seul bémol la facture de chauffage à la fin du séjour. Quand nous sommes arrivés en milieu d'après midi le samedi, la température extérieure avoisinait les 3 °, le seul moyen de chauffage mis en place par la propriétaire pour chauffer le chalet, avant notre arrivée qui avait été annoncée, était un feu de cheminée. Il n'y avait pas eu d'autres personnes avant nous aussi le chalet était assez froid. Le chauffage contrairement à ce qui est indiqué sur le contrat est électrique et non au fioul. Nous avons réglé une facture de 170 € en fin de séjour comprenant les 49 € de nettoyage final soit 121 € pour 6 jours de location chauffage électrique, 1/2 stère de bois et des briquettes à 5 €. Le taux d'occupation était de 6 personnes. Il est heureux que les températures n'étaient pas trop froides car je n'ose imaginer le montant de la facture de chauffage !...

Summary: Dit huis is meer dan groot genoeg voor een gezin met 5 (2 volwassene + 3 kinderen). Het huis was proper en van alle basis-benodigdheden voorzien. Beekje in de tuin is leuk voor de kinderen. Aangezien het huis niet meteen in de buurt van enige activiteit ligt hebben we deze locatie enkel gebruikt als uitvalsbasis voor daguitstappen (dus enkel om te slapen + ontbijt + avondeten). Handig is het supermarktje (brood/artisanale producten) op 2 minuutjes wandelen. In de (iets verdere) omgeving is er genoeg te doen: zwemmen (in meer), kajak, paardrijden, Gerardmer, ...

Summary: De beschrijving van het huisje klopte precies, het was een leuk en gezellig chalet. Wij hebben een prachtige week gehad, de beheerdster was een aardige behulpzame vrouw, ze kwam zelfs halverwege de week een flesje rose brengen. Wij kwamen iets te vroeg aan maar dat was geen enkel probleem. De omgeving is erg mooi en het Gerardmeer is een echte aanrader!

Summary: Aankomst was prima ondanks dat de eigenaresse alleen frans spreekt wijst alles zich vanzelf. De accommodatie is gedateerd maar netjes en schoon onderhouden. Je waant je in de ‘70-er jaren met oude eiken bankstellen en klassieke moezelglazen in de kast. Voor de rest alles aanwezig zoals een wasmachine, afwasmachine en bbq. De rivier die door de tuin stroomt en een paar meter valt is heerlijk als achtergrond geluid. De vogezen zelf is niet heel touristisch en rustig maar er valt genoeg te doen als je er even een leuke autorit voor wilt maken.

Summary: We werden goed ontvangen en aan de accommodatie kan het eea worden verbeterd. Het is toch jammer dat dit huis aan de doorgaande weg D8 ligt. Overdag heel veel verkeer.
