This home is perfect for family reunions. The 'Scarborough Affair' home is situated on a 17,600 square ft. triple lot, six (6) blocks from the beach. This is the ultimate in vacation privacy. The rear yard is adorned with lush landscaping, hardscape, low voltage night up-lighting, and pergolas draped with Wisteria and grape vines. The 30x15 in-ground heated pool (in season) is a fabulous retreat. In the evenings enjoy the illuminated pool (on timer) and the tranquility of the yard and gardens with added ambient lighting throughout the pergolas. The interior entertaining spaces are open, light and airy and filled with a mix of antique, designer and casual beach furnishings. The open floor plan is perfect for daily family gatherings. The first floor living space has beautiful Mahogany floors throughout, and walls of floor-to-ceiling French doors and windows overlooking the multi-level deck and rear gardens with pool.
The kitchen is fully-equipped for entertaining with stainless steel appliances including a gas range w/electric convection oven. There are multiple dining areas and you can easily accommodate 12 at the main table - 20 using the granite kitchen bar area. The all season glass porch dining seats 4 to 8, and the rear deck dining, overlooking the yard and pool, seats 12-18 so you can dine under the stars whenever you like. The 15x24 foot screened porch just off the living area has been glassed in with air conditioning and heating and boasts the original brick floor and vaulted cedar ceiling with 60 " fan and large L-shaped sectional, large flat screen TV, and dining area - great for relaxing after a day at the beach. You can also enjoy our private, open-air outdoor shower with hot and cold running water.
The lower level serves as lovely private quarters for an entire family or a space for the kids. It has an additional family room with large flat screen TV, 2 bedrooms (one queen and one w/a twin and set of bunks), small dining area, kitchenette with microwave and extra refrigerator (no stove) and full bath.
There are two king bedrooms on the main floor level and one full bath. The second level has 4 additional bedrooms including the spacious master bedroom suite with a King sleigh bed and en-suite bath with vaulted ceilings. Other bedrooms on the second level include 1 queen, 1 w/queen and twin which connects to the 4th bedroom with a double. In addition to the King en suite, there are 2 additional full baths on this level. Parking off street for 5 cars plus 3 City of Rehoboth street parking permits provided. This is truly a one-of-a kind private beach retreat!

Summary: The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all that you need and more. The backyard was an oasis. The pool was the perfect temperature. Relaxing environment, great for visiting. Handicapped friendly once you are in. Our ages ranged for 19-106! Enjoyed by all! Would have liked 1 more bathroom on the 1st floor, but overall FANTASTIC! Jacqui was great too!

Summary: Everything about the house was beyond what we could have asked for. The backyard is amazing with lots of privacy. Summary: This property is a mini heaven! The house is impeccably clean. The house is spacious, com mfortable and very lovely. There was much thought put into the esthetics, comfort, privacy, and convenience for the visitors. But the best part was the pool and the landscaping. It was paradise! Just beautiful! Our guests were blown away with this place and they've vacationed in some very nice places. We loved our environment and were sad to leave. The owners we're very accommodating and we felt very welcomed. Would we go back again? Oh yes, you bet!

Summary: This was our first stay on the Delaware shore and this was an amazing place. The photos of the yard do not do it justice. We have been accustomed to spending a week on the North Carolina beach and did miss the back yard beach access, but the yard was the next best thing. It was absolutely stunning and the back deck, with the arbor was very welcoming. We spent lots of time at the pool and in the pool. It was the 2023 Heat and rain season. The house was beautifully decorated and had every utensil you could possibly need. Very well equipped. There was an extra refrigerator in the garage and a small one in the basement. It had plenty of space for people to spread out if they needed some privacy. The driveway and parking passes gave us plenty of car space and I had been worried about that. We had people coming and going, but it all worked out. The bathrooms were a little bit of a problem. The downstairs bath was small and lots of people were using it. The upstairs three bathrooms were all good except getting to one of them was through two bedrooms. The basement bathroom was fine, but I did not even see it. We had one family staying there and it was great for them. Their own little apartment.
