Positive: The cabin is beautifully designed, spotless, and offers views of the trees right from the bed and terrace. The peaceful location, is about 25 mins downhill walk to the main street with restaurants etc but quite steep on the way back The host was extremely friendly, responsive, and genuinely cared that we had a great stay. The cabin has everything needed for a comfortable visit, and the fireplace makes the evenings especially cozy.

Negative: The main downside is the price. It is noticeably more expensive than many other accommodations in Kazbegi, so the valué for price is something not totally convincing especially you need tonpay CASH no cards are accepted. The only thing to keep in mind is that the property sits on a hill, so the walk back can be a little steep if you’re on foot.

Positive: Everything! The cabins were just beautiful. I loved my view of the mountain from my bed. I wish I could have stayed longer. Davit was a real gentlemen, checking to see if I was fine & let me know when I forgot something after check out

Negative: There was some building work going on around the cabins and I could hear some drilling etc. It did not affect me as I was hiking and out in the busiest parts of the day & is likely temporary

Positive: We had a really wonderful overnight stay at Elia Loft. The view from the bedroom is amazing and the cottage is extremely warm and cozy, especially when the fire is burning inside. We loved all the swings outside overlooking the mountain and the finishing touches inside the loft are beautiful. Waking up to the view of Kazbegi mountain at sunrise was a memory I will keep with me for a long time.....

Negative: There was a bad smell in the bathroom on arrival, perhaps because the unit had been closed up for a while? The stairs from the bedroom down to the living area can be a bit of a challenge at night if you need to use the bathroom, but this all added to the fun of our overnight stay.

Summary: Kazbegi mountain views from our bed were unbelievable!!!!

Positive: 1- The reception was nice, 2- Everything we needed was available, 3- There was a bidet and it was essential, 4- The owner asked us every day if we needed anything, 5- There were 3 cottages and we took the one in the middle; the view was literally amazing, 6- Anyone going to Kazbegi shouldn’t miss it.

Positive: Overall top tier experience, immediate help from the host when needed and very good staff, willing to accomodate the guests. The property is well maintained by all means, and there is attention to detail by Elia Loft.

Negative: The couch could be upgraded tbh. It is very likely to stay long hours in front of the fireplace due to cold weather, so it would make sense to sit in a more comfy furniture. We had no other major issues, that's why it is a 10/10 rating, we are just saying it, because we believe it could change. Another thing we want to mention is that this side of Stepantsminda is in a steep incline ( the other side too, the center near the river is the lowest point between). If someone is not fit it can be a bit hard to go up and down from the village on foot. This is not a problem of the host or the property by any means, I am just laying the information for people with kinetic problems, who do not have a vehicle.
