Positive: All is 10/10! The spa, swimming pool, massage, and food are absolutely perfect! There are plenty of shops near the hotel and lots of activities to enjoy. I definitely want to come back here every summer! A special thanks goes to the hotel STAFF – they fulfill every guest’s request with kindness and professionalism. They are polite, attentive, and, to be honest, the service here feels like 5+ stars!

Positive: Great location, brilliant staff, garden and spa were all lovely. Hotel had a lovely vibe and traditional feel to it. Breakfast was ok, all the usual suspects and plentiful.
Negative: Unfortunately we were there in a heatwave and there was no AC, reception provided a fan but it was only small and didn't oscillate so the room was constantly very warm. The pillow provided wasn't great, we paid 20 euros to get a new one each and that still wasn't great but it was better than the original one. Lastly the hotel has an auto lighting system, which is great throughout and very eco friendly... however some of these is in the room and went off if one of us got up in the night or even just randomly sometimes waking us up. Overall it just meant we didn't get the best of sleep whilst we were there which was a shame as it was lovely otherwise, but also not really much anyone could do as it was the design of the hotel.

Positive: Breakfast was out of this world, missing some more fresh veggie options other than cucumbers and bell peppers in the buffet. The dinner of the half board was Michelin Star level, one of the best menus I ever had. Service was great too! Dog friendly at this standard of hotel is also exceptional and the main reason why we chose the hotel. The spa is one of the best you can get.
Negative: Honestly, there's not much to dislike about the hotel. However, the vibe felt a bit stiff. The staff were lovely, but it seemed like they were under tight supervision. The main issue that soured our experience (otherwise, I'd give this place a 10/10) involved the daughter-in-law of the hotel owner, who made sure to introduce herself that way. Despite being a dog-friendly hotel, she scolded us about our dog needing to be leashed at all times in the nearby park—a rule that wasn’t clearly communicated to us beforehand. For the record, our dog is super chill off the leash. I get that we might not have followed the rules unintentionally, but her approach was over the top. She didn’t just inform us; she yelled and even threatened us. That’s no way to treat guests, especially when no harm was done. This kind of attitude really affects the overall atmosphere of the hotel, which is disappointing considering the hefty price we paid and how we ended up feeling as guests.
