Looking for a private retreat for the whole family? Bordering on 1,200 acres of BLM land, nobody will bug you here besides the quail, deer, and elk that roam the forest! Access to the little Deschutes river right across the street.
Located north of La Pine, Oregon, just minutes off of highway 97. 5 mins to La Pine State Park, 15 mins to Newberry Caldera, 15 mins to Sunriver, 20 mins to Bend, 30 mins to Mt. Bachelor, and 2 hrs to Crater Lake. Paved road. An adventurer's dream!
House sleeps 16 comfortably with 4 bedrooms, 8 beds and 3 baths. Living spaces include great-room with wood-burning stove, lofted game room, and den with flat-screen TV. Master bedroom includes in-suite bath, TV, and private deck.
Kitchen set up with everything you might need to cook meals for the whole crew--sharp knives, large-volume pots and pans, and plenty of dishes, linens, and utensils. Dining table seats 12 with additional 4 seats at the bar (16 total).
Plenty of games available in the loft, Wi-Fi, and 2 large Roku TVs set up with Netflix, Amazon Video, and HBO for those who want to cozy up and watch a movie or TV show.
Access on a paved road with a large driveway able to accommodate many vehicles (8+). Loop driveway can accommodate trailers or large RV/motorhomes (please inquire if you'd like to have additional guests stay on the property in their own RV). Attached 2-car garage available for guests to use.

Downstairs: Master suite w/ King bed and private bath; Queen guest room; Queen luxury pull-out in TV-room; full bath
Upstairs: Double queen guest room; 1 Queen 1 Full guest room; full shared bath

Summary: We rented Mickey's place for family vacation with my elderly mother and siblings' family. The house is beautiful and quiet. There are 8 of us and 2 dogs, and there is plenty of room indoor and outdoor for everybody. We like the well stocked kitchen where we made meals together. We like the good selection of TV streaming service where everybody can find something they want to watch. The first day we arrived at the house the temperature was in the 90s and it was so nice the house was kept nice and cool. There is plenty to do in the area, we only stayed for 3 nights, but the place is so comfy we could stay for at least a week.

Summary: We arrived and were immediately impressed with the home and the property. We had multiple generations with us from 7 to 70+. The layout allows everyone to come together yet has ample room for everyone to spread out if they want. It's well stocked with any and all the things needed and the location was perfect as a base camp to explore the area from. We also had both deer and elk visiting frome the adjacent BLM land and it made the experience just that much better. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to stay in the LA Pine area.

Summary: We wanted to come to the Bend area but stay somewhere with more space to relax and run around. Our two boys had the best time playing in the yard, riding bikes and exploring. We were lucky enough to see the elk in the woods one evening and enjoyed our daily visits from the next door llama. We would definitely stay again and bring friends and family to stay too as the home could comfortably house multiple families.
