Positive: great quiet location set back from a busy main road, country park adjacent, very friendly staff , clean and comfortable, excellent food in adjacent "Mouldy Fig" jazz-themed pub-restaurant, ample parking.

Positive: The room was clean and the staff were polite.

Negative: The carrots and broclie were blanched not soft as i was expecting. When we were asked if everything was satisfactory, i pointed out the problem , she said she will let the shief know. In a little while the waitress came back to us and offered a free sweet and an appology. The reception area was dusty and looked as if it needed freshening up as did the out side and the toilet seat needs maintanance. The notices about being quiet afer 11pm, i dont except because if i want to make love i will, as it is my right as a human being. If companys choose to cut corners by putting stud partision walls in place that is at there own risk not the public, human rihgts are clear to undestand.

Positive: While tired and a bit dated it was clean, comfortable bed and quiet- and v good valie. Was surprised there was even a kettle in the room!
