3 Bedroom Cottage in Long Pond

Emerald Hideaway is perfectly situated in the heart of the Poconos. Located next to Kalahari and by Camelback, it has a cozy, homey feel with a lot of outdoor space.
Outside, we have a large, wrap-around patio with gas grill, Adirondack chairs, patio table with umbrella with seating for 6, and banister lights so you can enjoy the peace and quiet day or night.
Come inside and enjoy the open concept living and dining area centered around the gas fireplace.
The cabin has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom that easily sleeps 6.
Bedroom 1: Has a queen sized bed with a large closet, dresser, white noise machine, TV and Roku.
Bedroom 2: Has a queen size bed with a large closet, Nest WiFi point with assistant.
Bedroom 3: Has bunk beds with a trundle for extra sleeping space and has a large closet.
For our tech-appreciating guests, the house features 1 Gig high-speed internet, 2 Roku boxes, and 2 Nest Wi-Fi points with G Assistant.
For parents looking to entertain their children beyond the Roku, we also have plenty of board games for family fun.
Need laundry done? We also provide a laundry pickup service giving you time back to enjoy the mountains.
For our pet parents, we provide a large pet bed, doggie bags and some toys so your fur baby(ies) can also have a great time. There is a $100 pet fee that will be charged after booking.
NOTE: for your security and convenience, Emerald Hideaway features a SimpliSafe security system which does include a video doorbell, facing out towards the driveway. The camera does not look into any interior spaces and will only be activated if someone rings the bell.
SimpliSafe and Nest smoke alarm/carbon monoxide detectors and a Nest Smart lock are all included.

Summary: The property was extremely clean- it was very easy to check in. Came with my gf and my dog. Great deck for bbq and hangout. Also enjoyed the fire pit. Only thing I would mention is that you probably do need to drive to the lake. We brought our kayaks and caught a lot of fish in the lake. It is part of a lake community. Overall I would recommend.

Summary: Took my son, parents, brother and their dog for a long weekend. The house was warm and welcoming. Dog treats, toys and a bed were waiting for our beagle to enjoy. House was clean and inviting. Easy to communicate with owners through VRBO website. Getting into the house was simple also-I was provided a code to unlock the door. Location was great. Quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed a walk to a nearby lake in the community. I would definitely recommend for a nice getaway.

Summary: We had a wonderful time and experience this weekend! The accommodations were perfect. The hosts were very friendly, thoughtful, communicative and accommodating towards us. This was my first experience using VRBO and everything went so smoothly and was so positive, I would absolutely do it again. If we come back to this area, I will definitely look to rent this place again. It was the perfect size for us and fur babies, very clean, very comfortable and close to many attractions.
