Emerald Lake House is a gorgeous waterfront home located on the popular and beautiful Indian Lake.
With an elevated view of the lake and walk-out basement, the sunsets are fantastic. Emerald Lake House sleeps 8 total in 3 bedrooms and has 2 full bathrooms.
The main floor of the home has a fully equipped updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Kitchen is stocked items such as pots and pans, dishes, silverware, cups, serving dishes, slow cooker, coffee maker, toaster, and blender. Dining room includes an 8-person dining table. Living room includes comfortable seating, 49-inch 4K Smart TV, and decorative fireplace. The main floor also consists of 2 bedrooms with a queen size bed in each, ample closet space, full bathroom, and laundry room.
The walk-out basement of the home has sliding glass doors for a beautiful view of the lake. The Knotty Pine Lower Level of the home has a recreation area with a futon, 60-inch Smart TV, Classic Retro Nintendo Gaming System, Blu-Ray Player, DVDs, Pool Table, Dart Board. The lower level has has a bedroom with 2 queen beds. There is also folding table with 4 chairs and a cot for extra sleeping.
Outside the Emerald Lake House you can enjoy the wrap-around deck, exquisitely landscaped yard is great for entertaining, as guests enjoy a tiered landscape approach to 89' of private, sandy bottom lake frontage. There is an area for you to enjoy campfires by the lake with a fire pit, 7 chairs, and firewood. A 40 foot private dock is provided for easy access to the lake. A public small water vessel launch is adjacent to the property, so feel free to bring your own rowboat, canoe, or jet skis to enjoy! Three kayaks are already included in your stay at Emerald Lake House. The paved driveway includes a basketball hoop (balls included).

Summary: We loved our time at the Emerald lake house! The home was well outfitted with all of the essentials for a lake side vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed the activities outside (fires with smores and watching the sunset, kayaking around the lake) as well as inside (billiards, games and more!). The house was well located and easy to travel to nearby attractions like the sand dunes at Sable Falls, Pictured Rocks, and sites around Manistique. I would recommend this property to a variety of guests - it is the ideal family escape.

Summary: This was our last stop of our family vacation we couldn’t of asked for more it was perfect. House had everything we could ask for and then some. The kids enjoyed playing in the water, kayaking, and fishing. If our travels make it through this area again would definitely book again.

Summary: Our stay at the Emerald Lake House was nothing short of perfection. Super clean, had everything you could need, excellent air conditioning, gorgeous sunsets, communication with Lori was excellent. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. (Lori even had a welcome gift of everything you need to make S'mores, chip clip and can holders.) Her welcome book is SO well done!

Summary: This is the spot for anyone, the lake, close to services, amazing house but not peaceful. If you don't mind being on a public access site. Personally we experienced other tourists bringing in large watercraft (pontoons, etc...) and most of them assumed we lived there so started engaging us while we were napping on the hammock. Additionally, this appears to be a frequent stop for people with dogs and ATV's so that they can relieve themselves and play in the water. This property would be 15 out of 10 if not for the public access site.

Summary: We had an incredible stay! Cannot say enough good things about this home. It was the extremely clean, had all the modern conveniences, and was located in a beautiful spot on the lake to catch one of the most amazing sunsets we have ever seen. We stayed here while playing in the golf tournament at Indian Lake, and would love to make it a tradition going forward.

Summary: Had a great long weekend. Beautiful home with great view. Easy to find. Easy access to golf and plenty of things to see and do. The lake is huge. We took kayaks and were a little overwhelmed with the lake size. To quote Jaws “were going to need a bigger boat “ Especially if you plan on fishing. Bring a bigger boat, the launch is literally right next to the house.
